I recently rediscovered this song I was obsessed with when I was a kid. There used to be the music on demand channel through spectrum when it was still time warner, this was maybe 2004. It was an obscure indie song with a cool music video to me, and a couple years ago I tracked it down and it recently came back up in my shuffle and I'm obsessed with it again. ^ that's a copypaste of what I shared with my friends just now xD but I wanted to share here cuz it's just. So cool of things kist kind of keep coming back? I know nothing about her other work (yet) but this song is sapphic as hell
Think we saw her open for Sarah McLachlan in Philadelphia back in 2003. Bought her Flutterby album immediately and this song became our favorite. Wish she had received the fame she deserves...
Oh my, yes! Being a Sarah Mclachlan groupie, I went to five or six shows during that tour. I think it was 2004, actually... but the bottom line is that I fell in love with butterfly, and especially this song
It's good to see this video after all these years. She looks beautiful. I first heard the song back in 2002 while shopping in Bloomingdale's. When times were good.
I first heard this song live when BB opened up for Sarah McLachlan at the old Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY somewhere around 2004-2006? Butterfly is fantastic. Its a shame the general public is mostly unaware of her... unfortunately the music industry is no longer about music...
I remember this was the original music video shown on MTVu... hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago.
Thanks for posting this video. I always loved this song and Butterfly Boucher
but never saw this version of the music video.

I love when a memory of a time becomes intertwined with a song. Yes, when times were good.
Thank you. This is my all time fave song. Much love 😊😊
What happened to the baby in baby seat ?

That would have been an awesome show and you are most fortunate to have enjoyed it. I've never been to Nassau Coliseum but my friend told me about it
Love this Song
