Hey Kenny that's a cool cartridge you developed. Seems to perform great in the AR platform. The 6mm ARC is also a great shooter in the bolt gun for sure. Great job as usual. My 6 ARC bolt gun you built is my go to rifle. Keep up the great work brother.

Great vid Kenny. Please show more of these long range vids. The 22 DPC appears to have outperformed the 6mm ARC. The 6 ARC though is SAAMI approved though. Would be nice to see your 22 DPC SAAMIed too
Doubt that will happen unless Hornady steals this one too. The process to standardize a cartridge is outrageous and expensive. I load for all my rifles regardless. Many who compete do also so wildcat or saami doesn't matter for me at least
Very impressive! I’ve been keeping up with this project you’re developing. Hopefully I can get you to convert my 22-250 to 22DPC some time. It seems like it will be a good coyote round for those long range shots here in windy NM Great work!!

Awesome video 22 DPC is a new round I wanna get. Like I said before patent that round you deserve all the credit. I will definitely buy one for sure… keep it up you are an inspiration to me. Kenny you are the man
I love this stuff. I used to talk my gunsmith into wildcats, but we both got older and more busy, and just don't have the time to reload and dream anymore. The only true wildcat I have anymore is a 357/454 casull in a winchester 94 trapper, and a Freedom Arms 357/454 casull 7.5 in barrel. This clambering reminds me of the 22 cheetah.
Great vid and cartridge Kenny! Love my 6 ARC gasser but man, a gasser in 22 DPC would be fantastic for PRS. (That's what all my long range shooting is geared towards.) 6 ARC is so recoil friendly in a gasser (especially one that weighs 17 lbs) but that DPC looked like it hardly moved at all! Seems like light bolt impulse. Nice! Very impressed.
Much appreciated! Yes thats one of the biggest advantages I'm noticing also, this cartridge does have a much lighter recoil impulse than 6 ARC 105's. However, if you load 6 ARC with 95gr Bergers. Its very close to the same recoil
Seems to be putting out almost identical velocities to my 22-204, only difference is a have a very short throat. If i added a freebore .160" longer it would do much better. I run a howa short action with a modified internal mag. Can seat them out as long as a 308.
Man that was awesome. I've been into the ar thing for so long now I want one of your bolt actions. That 6 arc bolt gun was holding its own. The 22 dpc Def got more hits but man they all were banging steel.
That 26inch barrel seems to slow the 22 DPC down. Im thinking 24 is ideal in a 1:8 twist. The 6mm ARC at 26.5" is just a barrel length node Ive seen to be more consistent in accuracy. Id love to make you one!
I just got me a 6mm ARC ar build and I've been thinking of doing a bolt gun built with a terminus zeus quick barrel change action. I'd like a 8.6 blk and now u got me thinking I want this round 😆
Will you be able to come up with some terminal ballistics for the 22DPC at some point? While it looks safe to assume it is the superior round for drift and drop, I am a little curious at what range the kinetic energy falls off, thinking Yotey type range/energy capabilities.
Very cool! That .22DPC is the ticket for long range coyotes and P-dawgs. I'm sure the heavier bullets would anchor deer sized game as well. Well done!! Very impressive!
I was concerned that the 22cal bullet would be harder to spot hit/misses but looks like it works just fine! Great work and dev ! Can you share your load?
Good stuff. I want to be able to plug data into JBM Ballistics calculator. I gather you used the .22 Berger 85.5 LRHT and 80 VLD. What 6mm bullets you use? And what were the velocities for all?
80gr VLD was used in the AR15 @ 3135 FPS. 85.5gr Berger Hyrbid for the bolt gun at 3085. 6mm ARC bolt gun used 105gr Berger Hybrid at 2910 FPS. 6mm ARC AR15 use factory 105gr Hornady black BTHP at 2780 FPS
I was looking at doing a 22grendel for the next ar15 build but I will have to look at the specs on this.....I did buy 6arc brass for some reason to build a 6arc or to neck it down. What is the load data, speed and bullets used for the 22arc/DPC? I think I heard 85.5 bergers at 3100fps??? Thats incredible! I have a love hate relationship with my Valkyrie......hate more so. I also thought the 22DPC hit harder. The feed back from the impacts sounded more prominent and easier the hear.

@Eagle Eye Shooting I can't tell the deference between my 223 in an ar 15 and the 22-250 in ar-10. There is plenty of room in the magazine for a longer heavy bullet.
Thats simply false. You cannot be mag length with a 80gr or 88gr ELD with a 22-250 optimized for a AR10 platform. As a manufacturer of precision rifles, I've build many fast twist 22-250's. Barrel life is substantially less compared to a shorter cartridge like the 22 DPC
You have a winner. Now Hornady needs to steal it and call it a .22 arc. Fun as always to see you shine behind the trigger.
It is an obvious extension of their 6ARC case design. Once they have the time to run new brass, I am sure we will see a 22 version.

You might say it flies like an Eagle. 🤭
Why? 22-250 AR-10
Heavier plateform in a LR308... more recoil. 22-250 can't be loaded with heavy grain projectiles and fit mag length.
