Great Commentary definitely worth a sub. I see we seem to have the same taste in content. Good to see a character of color depicted in a balanced way.
Minor Threats is the best book I've read in 2022. Just pure fun, exciting storytelling.

Thought you'd find this funny, so I just finished watching The Sandman GOOD SHOW BTW afterward I get in my car and head for my Taco Tuesday appointment at Taco Bell when guess what starts playing on the radio......RUNNING DOWN A DREAM by Tom Petty I just when into this fit of laugher after just watching The Sandman and hearing that song of ALL SONGS on the radio.

Patton Oswald's writing comics, love it.
This is exactly what I was hoping for regarding if we were gonna get more minority based super heroes. Solid original concept. Not just swapping some other character's gender or race around. Something new and different that graps your brain from jump. This now has my attention.
I can't support Patton.
He talked way too much crap about Wesley and made up stuff about him during a time he really wasn't able to defend himself.
And he showed his hand again with "His good friend Dave Chappelle" when he tried to throw Dave under the bus!

Sorry, it just bothers me that the black bad guy is a victim and forms a group of bad guys to be the good guys. Too much like real world's racist narative. We ignore that there are poor black people who don't do drugs, break into others' homes, use recreational drugs, and do poorly in school. Instead, our heroes are always misunderstood people have multiple kids out of wedlock by multiple people people while slipping poison to other struggling people to get them hooked as customers. Just too close to the real BS.
