- Sinulog in Cebu is one of the biggest and best festivals in the Philippines. In this Sinulog vlog I take a look at the colourful dancers, street parties make this one of Cebu's top tourist attractions. Held every 3rd Sunday of January annually. This year it attracted 2 million tourists to Cebu. As a foreigner in the Philippines, the Sinulog Festival is a must do in Cebu. It is so much fun and highly recommended. In this travel video I give a quick guide on what to see and do during the Sinulog Festival in Cebu.
This is my 5th time i have experienced this festival and each one has brought different experiences, all fond ones. I really found it to be an amazing experience and I recommend it to any tourist coming to the Philippines! The Cebuano really know how to celebrate. Head down some of the side streets to enjoy some of the Sinulog Street parties! Pit Senyor!

Hellow finding paradise
Im happy back again in cebu
Did u just get back?
Crazy fun times...I'll try to go next year.
It is! If you can handle the crowds you'll have a blast !
Does the Sinulog 2023 going to be celebrated in the same area or street? After the street parade where can I watch the stage show?
The street dancing is going to be held along the streets at the SRP area ( Near SM Seaside). They are still going to hold entertainment at places like Osmena Circle. That's all I know at the moment.
That's it. After watching this I'm going next year 😁
Yes! Looking forward to it, it's been 2 years already! Have you been before?
Ive never been to Philippines. Want to go in 2023!
Nice, after Sinulog head up to Bantayan Island or do Bohol :)
Hi, Finding Paradise! I heard Sinulog is back this year. Question is, when's the best day to go? The festival is like 2 weeks long so I'm unsure what date to go (such as this video with all the people out). Is it on the last day, Jan. 15?
The grand parade is on Sunday the 15th. That's really what most people come to see. This year it's going to be held at the SRP area (near SM seaside) which is the 1st time they have had it here. This is the schedule of the whole festival sugbo.ph/2022/sinulog-2023-events/. Hope you have an awesome one!
@@FindingParadise Thank you for the information! Appreciate it.
I'm to Cebu City next year to witness the sinulog festival 2024 this is the best festival that I need to see after 24 years
Long time between festivals! It will be so different! Hope it will be awesome
@@FindingParadise yes I really want to march with the soldiers too or to the boy scouts
Very well done, I could not imagine what will sinulog be like in 2021 with the new norms...Sr.Sto Nino will make everything ok
Thanks. Hope so!
0:21 Cool. I didnt know that was a Hotel.... I stayed by the Crown Regency Hotel right behind it, the tall building behind Summit Circle... :-)
I think the rooms are nicer in the Crown, but I remember always waiting around for those elevators! I think they need more!
Pit senor
Thanks!
Rob, we stayed at Summit during Sinulog also. I can’t believe we didn’t run into you during that week! We would have loved to meet you ! Now we are back to work and resting. We hung out on the street where St Marks Hotel is. Lot and lots of craziness there
Wow really! I guess it's understandable, it was so so crowded! I went around that area last time during Sinulog. I think no matter where you are, you'll see the craziness. Take care
Hello po thanks Cebu City
Cheers, missing the Sinulog parade this year! It was so wonderful
Wow! Nice video.. I live in Cebu btw 😉
Oh nice, Cebu rocks!
a few years ago I was in Cebu when this festival was going on. Super crowded street, I felt a hand reach into my pocket, some group of young kids was trying to pickpocket me. Thankfully I wear short with two front pockets and I keep my money/wallet in the one with a Velcro strap. This was the first time in many trips going to Philippines that this happened. I usually hang out in Davao City so pickpocketing is not common there. Manila has groups of kids pickpockters who hang out in front of bars and they try to prey on foreigners who leave and are intoxicated.
Yes unfortunately this happens parasitically where it is easier to pick pocket with such crowds. I just carry some spare cash and leave me wallet in the safe.
I hope that you need to be careful against snatchers and also the security forces was on high alert
Yay is the plantation bay video gonna be uploaded soon?
Yes, sorry Sinulog festival interrupted it, it will be soon.
@@FindingParadise Haha great☆☆
Pit Senyor!
Did you get to Sinulog?
@@FindingParadise yes we did. It's quite a mix experience having to drag my kids in the crowd during the grand parade. It was our first time as a family.
