This movie has a lot of problems. For example, it came out too late. Natasha has an extensive story that we never got to see. And that's unfortunate. But there are two things I really appreciate about this film: the soundtrack by Lorne Balfe and the performance by Florence Pugh, which magically complement each other. Even in this scene, you hear the Russian choir humming a poem by Tyutchev while Yelena emotionally expresses her feelings. And this is so... Russian. As a Russian myself, I feel it, it resonates with me in an unimaginable way.
Thanks to Marvel Studios for Florence Pugh. She gives 100% to portray Yelena. And she does it well. I love her accent, even though it's weak in this movie, and in Hawkeye it's almost pure Russian. The next stage is the Russian speech. I hope Marvel will let her do it.

This movie had sooo much potential…
It sucked that the movie failed to FULLY develop the mother & father. The CGI sucked.
The movie just fails to know what it wants to be. They have a really good spy/action story. But they also have a very complex family plot that they could’ve used for the movie…and it would’ve probably been better….😢
They just has so much potential to create a movie that truly focused on Natasha’s family life & had the story built for it but it failed to meet expectations & it failed to grow the story in a healthy way. It just seems rushed & poorly done.

I think the film should've been about Natasha's beginnings, childhood up to her training and the final act could be about the "Dreykov's daughter," and then she gets out, and then the film ends with her run in Clint and then a tease that ties to the Winter Soldier.

@@lilithyolanda9851 I agree. There I just wrote your movie Marvel! It's like these people who write the Marvel stuff, they claim to be such fans of the characters or of comics but in actuality, they're posers. For instance, Mia Decosta, the lady who's directing Captain Marvel 2, she directed the remake to Candyman and when she was promoting it, she claimed to be "such a fan of the original film." Her film contains an insult to Helen Lyle's character where one of the characters called Helen, I shit you not, "a young white college girl." and another line that went "white people built the ghetto and left when they realized they built the ghetto!" And on top of that, all the white characters in her movie were either assholes or rude or all cops "evil." Wow just what we need in a Captain Marvel film: a racist director. Hard pass!
