Hi, thanks for sharing this tip. It was working great for a while every time I got a purple star, but now, for about the last week it only works every other time I try it. Not sure what happened, I haven’t upgraded, I make sure to wait for all animation to stop at the end of the level before tapping, and I even make sure that there aren’t any items behind the “confirm tap” button. Anyway, I just wanted to share my latest experience with everyone. Thanks again and keep the videos coming! They’re greatly appreciated 🥰

Just to note, if you use this techinque, when you get back to camp, you can't tap the star before merging 5 stars in camp because it will turn yellow. That's what happen to me when I tried to tap the star in camp before merging. The technique to get the free jem in the level worked as described.
Hi Robin! You can tap them! What happens is that the purple star can be tapped from 1 to 3 times before it turns into yellow. If this star that you got could be tapped only 1 time and you already did it at the level, you can not tap it again at camp.
If the star could be tapped 2 times, you can tap 1 at level and 1 at camp!
I have the same issue as Robin. When I tap it once in a level then it turns yellow to me on the first tap in my camp....

Hi, Robin and Tom! Bruno is correct about the number of taps per Dragon Star and I always try to tap each one once in the level and never have any trouble. May I make two suggestions: 1. always save to the cloud and then disconnect before going into camp or at least when tapping, merging, collecting, or buying items that you are unsure of and 2. watch his other videos on Dragon Stars and Gems. He has them listed in the description to this video. Feel free to ask for any clarification and he is awesome at replying to all of them.
@@BeoferoxGames Hi Bruno, this techinque is not working for me. I get the gem and the purple star in the rewards at the end of the level, but it doesn't add a free gem to my total gem count. I have the confirm tap on. Maybe it is an IOS bug. :-(

During the 28 days of the season, we can get even more than 26 gems daily, it is 24 + (20% of 24) + 2, or ~31 gems daily. This is if you use chalices at least every ~5.5 hours (7 hours less 20%). I do sleep longer than that some times, so I miss some of the chalice boost benefit.
I knew what the punch line was as soon as I saw you heading into DM3, Bruno. This is brilliant. I like that we can "collect" the gem immediately for a little instant gratification with this technique.
My hat is off to Eileen. Bruno, I would love to know if she deduced this trick from collect & merge, or if she discovered it independently. Either way, it is brilliant. Thank you, both. :)
With Dread Marsh 3 and Zomblin Falls 1, I do not receive the third star. It counts when the level tally’s up, but it never “hits the ground” in game.

But when you go back to camp the purple star only has one tap left in it😟Maybe it’s my luck but It happen to me every time so I stopped tapping the purple stars in levels
Hi Roka! Every purple star can be tapped at least 1 time! Its safe to tap it at the level! They can be tapped 1 to 3 times before turn into yellow. If the star could be tapped only 1 time, at the camp you can not tap it, but if you could tap it 2 times, you will be able to tap one time at level and one more time at camp! Hi there. I can only concur I’ve had it happen too, only once though. In my mind it’s “shit happens” Trouble is it can happen again. We don’t know what these people are secretly planning behind our backs. This game must have landed someone somewhere an awful lot of money. Hey game makers wanna mistress ?. Lmfo.

I dont know what I am doing wrong but I cannot seem to gain that extra gem after tapping in level. I do get a gem and star to take back to the camp.
Won’t that tap take away from the number of taps you can make back in the camp?
ok so If i am checking my start for all taps be it 1, 2 or 3 will this add another tap to it ? like if the start have only one tap and if i will do this will it give me one tap at level and another tap at camp ?
My tests indicate that a tap done in-level still counts against the total number you can get from that star.

okay, big question: what is the average time it would take to get the 26 gems per day using this technique? I have to work 8 hrs a day and need to do errands/chores and spend time with my family, so if this technique takes an exorbitant amount of time....
Hi Omi! It really depends at luck, but we can also try to make a bit of math to figure out.
Lets say we can do each cycle in 20 sec (6 sec to finish level, 14 sec to retrieve or save data).
We have each time 15% chance to get the purple star in each level;
So that would be like 15 stars each 100 cycle.
To get 30 stars you would need to play about 200 times.
So I'm guessing something about 1h to get all 26 purple stars?
O was doing that and lost all my game ! 😭 don’t know wat happened but now it’s like I was play for the first time! This isn’t a safe trick any more guys 😭😭😭😖😖😖

Hi Lulu, using this technique you will have 1 less tap at the camp. The purple star "remember" she was already tapped 1 time!

Don’t they disappear when you reconnect to the cloud save?
No, because when it asks you if you want the saved game or the current game, you choose the current game; then, it will ask if you want to upload,. You click “Yes” and it is now(becomes) the new saved game.

WELP! this is why its "do at your own risk" i got maybe 3 uploads/attempts in before my file got corrupted or i was penalized and all of my progress in levels was reset. Still have my camp but game treating me like I just downloaded the app. Just my luck lol Awesome...
Same here ;) There is a problem with the cloud save it's a known bug but not fixed yet... It's not recommended to use the cloud storage now :(

I'm certain there is no direct limit on the offer to receive a chalice for watching an add. I've had more than ten the same afternoon, at times. It appears to be a random selection at each opportunity (after completing any level).
I get exactly 2 offers every day, around this time. My game rarely crashes. You have all the luck, Bob. ;)
@@LauraJeanBabbitt in the three hours after I typed that, I accepted at least four more chalices for watching ads. Maybe it is another failure mode due to my tablets both being from the buggy Amazon Fire line.
Hi Bob! When I started the game it would also give me unlimited ads! Ads for chalices, ads to wake up dragons, for everything! Maybe you are still at the "new player" offer! For how long have you been playing?

Doesn't work every time especially if you get purple star at last and already close the game. Better buy 25 gems a day. Beside I had also 4 stars with zero taps. Waste of time in my case.
Hi Jolanda, for me it works everytime! If the purple star is the last one you get, you still have a few secons to tap it and tap the gem! Just need a bit of pratice! For a free to play player it makes a huge differece, it is a bit more then double the amouth of gems you get just using one of the techniques!
After many times tired off playing in playing straight many hours hole day so Lets say it was because im tired i was clicking on the star instead off the gem hahaha

Why are you posting about things most of us already know and risk ruining it for everyone? This technique has been around forever - it’s just most of us were smart enough not to make a UA-cam video about it... So, I get making videos about big exploits that will be patched anyway -but why post about the little things and risk ruining it for everyone??? Those who aren’t brand new to the game find these exploits discussed in various Merge Dragons forums. Some people use them, some don’t... but we have been discrete enough not to attract too much attention from the developers. Please don’t make videos about about all the little things that are common knowledge - this is irresponsible to the rest of the community and taking credit for things which are not ‘new’ discoveries.

I understand you feel that I should keep secret from some techniques but think at the bigger picture, there are many others very happy to discover about it!
Let me try show you my point of view:
You said:

If there are so many people that know about it, dont you believe merge dragons developers already know about it?
If all above didnt convince you, let me try it with logic/math:
I do believe that you have also bennefit from another exploit I have posted, maybe the infinite eggs/chest? If I didnt posted it, I would be still be able to do it, you are right, but also many other players would not bennefit from it and have more fun!
This technique that I teach at the this video can give you at top 26 gems per day, right?
The infinite eggs/chest if you have done it, when you get 2 lvl10 dragons, you would need 83 T2 eggs, each nest give you 3 to 7 eggs, lets put it at the middle, if you get 5 eggs each T2 nest, you would need 17 nests. To get 17 T2 nest, you would need 1688 T1 eggs.
If you where going to buy this amouth of eggs at buy menu, it caps at 30 gems (moon egg for example). 1688 x 30 = 50640 gems for 2 lvl10 dragons.
We can get with the technique at top 26 extra gems everyday; 50640 / 26 = 1647 days or 5 years and 4 month getting every single day 26 dragon stars/extra 1 gem.
The math above is just for 2 lvl10 dragons! Im pretty sure that everyone that used this technique got way more then 2 lvl10 dragons...
