Beautiful, all of them! It has been irritating me of late how "messy" my ribbons are! Can't wait to make some of these ribbon boxes now. Thanks as always Jan for these very clear instructions and sharing them with us!
I love this Ribbon box it keeps my ribbons covered and protected, Thank you for this tutorial. You can also put them with theme paper and example ribbon for Christmas having Christmas DPS on the outside. if you are like me I like to keep mine organized. no I don't have OCD , Just the opposite a lot of ribbon that was given to me to make curtain cards for friends. I like to grab one or two (how many I have in that holiday) to work on my cards.
I made my ribbon boxes using the the window shopping framelits so my ends have a nice lacy pattern each each end Just can't remember who did it originally. I lengthened the closure tab on mine as the original one was a bit narrow for my liking. Like your version too
I love this project Jan. Wouldn't it be good without the holes for a chocky box (or similar)? Thanks so much for all your hard work, it does make it much easier to watch you while I am scoring etc. Carol
Not a cropadile, but I was using my hole punch today and doing the same you are doing. Then I discovered if you work the punch a couple of times it usually knocks it out, not 100%, but most of the time.
Many thanks for your feedback, Patty. It's only really an issue when I need to look through the hole to line it up with my pencil marks! Grrr!! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
I have a lot of lace ribbon - from 1" to 3" .... I love to see if you could do a box tutorial this box. I'm setting up my craft room. I would to have both of the boxes for my ribbon and laces
Hi, Carol. If you watch Linda Parker's video - ua-cam.com/video/88fJrPoHT0M/v-deo.html - you'll see how she decides where to punch the holes. This would work for your vrious sized spools as well (assuming the spools are the same size as SU spools i.e. overall diameter is 3.25"). I hope this helps. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Thank you for this wonderful organizing video, the more organized I am the less stressed and therefore more productive I can be.
Absolutely, Sherri! You and me both! xx

I have this problem too.To get the holes scrap out of the cropadial, just squeeze the handle again while upside down and the scrap will come out.
