Yesterday i heard this announcement. Once we had completed the ride we were stopped outside the station as they were backing up the trains. When the one behind us stopped this announcement came on and we were stuck on the brakes for 8 minutes. Thankfully it then got running again
That proves how safe the smiler is.

The announcer sounds like Phil Sayer who used to do the announcements at various UK train stations, especially the ones in the south.
Phil Sayer did voice the announcements for The Smiler.

the guy who did the first one i think is Phil Sayer who mainly did national rail announce but sadly passed away in 2016

Had this yesterday at the park as the ride was evacuated due to a woman having a panic attack. Good thing I already rode it earlier on in the day and they gave us all fast-track passes but it was very irritating.

Eh? I had an panic attack whilst in the disabled queue line (I'm autistic), they gave us fast-track passes but they didn't evacuate the ride? Did it happen whilst she was inside the rides carts?

I got stuck on the smiler last weekend. The music drove me into insanity while sitting there! And the continuous TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES was very irritating lol
Do you have access to the smiler queue music? And if so can you upload it. I'm not talking about the official imascore soundtrack, I'm on about the actual soundtrack played in the park, as they are different (I'm pretty sure there was a short section this video)

heard the technical difficulty's sound straight after they sent out like 3 trains empty.... luckily it didn't pit again XD first train with people to go out got a massive round of applause from the whole queue line

It's a section of the official soundtrack from the ride. Nothing has been changed except adding some reverb.
@@ThemeParkMusicLooped Could you give me or show me where you got that section from without the new technical difficulties part? All I can find is the official Smiler theme that's already been posted but it doesn't have that part.
