The Band changed the Singers 3 times after he was gone and I lost track about it after that.....no idea if they still doing music.
It's not. They were hired and the group formed by a store selling party supplies and (party) costumes. You can see them in the store in a few of the shots.
The lyrics of this song might agree with your interpretation, but it was not a tourism stunt.
the main guy Ladybeard is a pro wrestler from Australia he is great.
He is awesome but never seen a Match with him.....I only know him as Singer but also know he`s a famous Wrestler in Japan.

Richard Magarey is an Australian stunt actor, professional wrestler, singer and UA-camr, known for his bearded crossdressing persona named Ladybeard. He is also vocalist of the band Deadlift Lolita, formerly with the band Ladybaby.
This somehow came up in my suggestions and I clicked on it. I was highly entertained! Then I see this band called BABYMETAL! Been a fan of Japanese music ever since!

I really enjoyed your little improv on the bass at the beginning! I used to have a squire jazz bass and I had a lot of fun with it trying (and failing) to play like Victor Wooten XD.
Cited as the first group to follow in the style of Babymetal's 'Kawaii Metal', Ladybaby had some limited success before Ladybeard left the group in 2016 citing 'Visa' issues.
The group went through three different iterations before finally ending all activities after their last live event on January 13, 2020.
