Glad you've enjoyed it, Jan. At one point this sat on my shelf for a long time and I was seldom motivated to play it but lately I've just had so much fun with it and would absolutely recommend as a solo experience.

Oh man, that was brutal. one down almost right away and the other so close to victory. great video!

It was fun watching how this game is played, but I am sorry that your character died at the end. :/

Thanks for uploading, i enjoyed watching. I just have a question at around 13.04 was that tile you placed a corridor? And if so, do you have to move again? I've just seen a few gameplays where they do this, but im not sure whether or not its optional to move straight away or not. Thanks :)

Thats a good question. I do always choose to move. never considered the benefit of not moving. Interesting question.

I'm thinking about getting this, price is a bit steep, but my game group is trying to get some more variety in our games. Going to watch some more later, but I have one question about your placement of the chasm tile you placed at the beginning. Is there a reason you couldn't have placed it so that it curved off to the left rather than to the right into the wall?

Thanks for watching, Brandon. I don't have the game handy and I can't quite make it out on the video but I presume that the chasm tile also has a white arrow on it. And if it does, that means you must place the arrow pointing in a specific direction. And that would mean I did not have a choice.
Hope you were able to pick this up. Yes, it is getting more expensive every month! It's an expensive hobby, isn't it? Cheers!

Couldn't you of discarded the lingering shadow when you left the dungeon to enter the rotating room?

      You are correct. Great catch!
At the time it never occurred to me that I actually "left" the dungeon (which, as you point out, is a condition for removal). I recall waking up in the middle of the night screaming"Nooooooooo!" when this suddenly dawned on me ;)

You had a clear and direct path back to the exit with only a portcullus in the way. Why did you opt for take the catacombs instead of the direct and already-expolred route?

Fair question. I think I remember having the feeling I didn't have time to waste attempting but failing to open the portcullis. She has low strength.
That being said, you make a good point. Perhaps I overlooked the obvious strategy!
