As always have a great day!
Good review, bravo! You hit all the points.
The "weakest" point on both bottles is, of course, the lids.
My favorite hot drink bottle is a Built flip lid. Does not spill and keeps liquids hot and cold. It's a slim size too. I think I hve 20 oz bottles. BUT they are so darn hard to find, which is too bad.
I honestly see no reson to have something that can spill in my bag or if I knock it over.
Stanley does have an excellent 24 oz screw top with a flip lid. Really keeps water cold. I don't know if you can use it for hot liquids though. We were gifted 2 of those by my Spousal Unit's company.
We do have some gifted Yetis (not the ones with the handles) and we do like them a lot. Especially the baby Rambler. I have 4 white ones and a pink one. But they are so darn expensive! I'm glad I was gifted the baby Ramblers!!
The yeti cup is smaller in volume than the stanley(?), so I use the yeti outside, and I use the 64oz stanley inside the house and the 40oz stanley in the office, thanks for the comparison video😊
I'm still impressed with mine. I bought a regular 36 ounce Stanley with the cup and a 36 ounce wide mouth for soup in 1981. wouldn't trade them for anything.
Wow! That's when they were still made in the USA. Thanks for sharing. 😃 👍
I really want to like the Stanley cups, its always been a well known brand, I just don't like how glamorous and trendy it's become. People go crazy over them and buy them up just to resell them for triple the price online. Same thing happened with the Starbucks cups
I liked the original Stanley classics. It's funny to see how the new Stanley cups are everywhere. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
same
I'm people lollllll. Well when they first hit this discord group I'm in........ we flipped a bunch of them. Now I don't bother. Ozark trail from Walmart works the same 😂
I saw a You Tube video last year where some guys in the far North West were in a boat. They said they were going Yeti hunting.
Now that was puzzling to me. They said in the video that container ships from China fall over board while traveling to the US. Some of the containers have Yeti coolers in them. They break open and the Yeti coolers wash ashore. He said they ended up picking over 80 $400 Yeti coolers.
Someone ask them what were they going to do with them as they looked brand new. He said they were were going to clean them up and give them to friends as Christmas Gifts.
Wow! That's quite an adventure. I bet some of them wound on ebay to help fund the trip. Thanks for sharing! 😃 👍
Both made in the same Chinese factory for about $5. I use a Yeti purely as the lid is easier to operate one handed.
I agree, the YETI is easiest to operate one handed. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍 🙂
Very true!
It would be interesting to see the (cold) temperature change with the Stanley straw in since it is almost always used with it.
That is a good idea! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 🙂 👍
Considering that the 'gist' (to use your word) of the tests showed that both do what they say they are going to do, I think one deciding feature would be what you showed in the last few seconds of the review. That is, the car cupholder. That is, the Yeti is shorter so you would be less likely to bump into it if you try to pick up something else from the console.
I included that part as it is the most important for me. It is hard to find cups to fit standard sized cup holders. I agree with what you said about not bumping into the YETI. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 😃 👍
great point!
The only consideration would be the base of each cup., the cup holder size in the car and having the cup fit .
I agree, the most important thing for me is to make sure they fit in my cup holder. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍 🙂
How in the world did Stanley manage to create this buzz over this cup. The cool cup era had came and gone a few years ago I thought. Good job stanley
Seriously, they sold 10,000+ units in December on Amazon. It's pretty impressive. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Don't understand the hype at all.😂
@@gunsmokeandghouls lol. It is interesting how it came out of nowhere. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 🙂 👍
Tik tok trends.
I think it’s funny that stanley and champion are the go to brands now 😂
I play a lot of golf in Florida…. What about a test out in the sunshine?
I have both and prefer the yeti
Very cool! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Soccer moms rejoice. LOL both are way over priced, but I enjoyed your review like usual.
Glad you liked it. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 🙂 👍
I got one like the Stanley, without the name. It works great! One of my customers bought it for me on Temu. It was less than $4. I just bought another one and it was free. They give you deals all the time. They keep ice for more than a day. I haven't put them to the same kind of tests that Jeff did, but I'm extremely happy with mine!
What color is the stanley in this video? I just love it.
That one is Jade...here's an affiliate link if interested: amzn.to/3VyHC4N thanks for stopping by and commenting
❤❤ Love my Stanley
I prefer yeti.. stanley still leaks when you turn lid is closed compared with yeti locked lid which doesnt leak
I noticed leaking from both although it was worse in the Stanley. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂 👍
I have multiple Yetis and I love them. I love that yetis have so many different types of cups, bottles and such. Stanley only has one type of cup. Yetis for the win for me.
Lol...I was at a sporting good store the other day and it looks as though Stanley has come out with other cups too. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂
#stanleycup wins!!🎉
I got a yeti didn't like it at all my boyfriend couldn't get his fingers in the handle so he went back to his bubba cup and I did too but now I got a stanley and it seems to be better my daughter has been using stanley cups for 10 years as she works in the medical field so she loves her stanley but they are hard to find
I will stick with my steel Tervis tumbler. It’s prettier with flowers.
Nothing wrong with sticking with what works! Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂 👍
Team Stanley!!!
Lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting
If you want your drink hotter and colder go for Stanley, but if you want your drink with no lead then go for Yeti😂
Lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂
i love yeti, for me is the best
The Yeti looks better.
yeti cups don’t have any lead. game over
I've recently heard about Stanley sealing their tumblers with lead. Very interesting. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂 👍
@@Jeffreviews4u podrías darnos más información sobre eso ? Yo quiero comprarme un Stanley por la cuestión del color el modelo y la manigueta q es más cómoda, pero escuché ese comentario de que tienen plomo
The mag slider is different on your yeti, it might be a replica :s
It’s the new one on the stronghold cups. It locks.
HOW MANY OZ DO THEY HOLD?
These are both the 30 oz tumblers. Both companies have various sizes. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂 👍
@@Jeffreviews4u hydroflask flasks are more practical
I prefer my Stanley thermos from 1988
I'm a fan of the original Stanley thermos as well. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂 👍
Go bills
Oh yeah, Go Bills!
Yeti!!!! All day!!!! Everyday!!!!!!
Woo-hoo! Thanks for sharing your favorite. 😃 👍
The test showed that the Stanley was the superior product!
Noo Stanley, Stanley, Stanley!!!!
Face it, it's a yeti nation!!!!!!
👍👍👍👍
😃 👍 thanks for stopping by and commenting
The yeti is 10 ounces less than the Stanley.
These were both 30 Oz tumblers. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂 👍
Who drink so much coffee I can barely drink a 10 ounce
The yeti is useless at retaining heat.. end of story 🧐
Nice. First at being first
Excellent job - you did it. Lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
@Jeffreviews4u sure. For the sales I buy Stanley for brand name and to look like I'm better than the rest I go Yeti.
@@summersol5 I like the shorter profile of the YETI. Thanks again. 👍
What a missed opportunity... While these mugs clearly do their intended job well, they are made in china and there are countless clones of them made in china as well. Would have been great to see how a >$10 mug does compared to the expensive ones...
I debated doing that as there are quite a few knock offs out there. In the end I just went with the 2. Thanks for he feedback. 😃 👍
I was gifted a really pretty stainless steel tumbler, from a customer of mine. She told me she got it from Temu, online, and she paid less than $4 for it. She bought everyone at her job one. I was wondering how it would do, since I know how much some of these can go for. It was amazing. I fill it with ice, and it's there for more than a day. I left it at home one day, it actually sat there for two days. It was nearly full of ice and water when I left it there. We have a wood burning stove, and we actually had 2 fires going during that 2 days. So I finally remembered to take it to work, and I couldn't believe it. There was still a sliver of ice in it!! I'm very happy with it! I ended up dropping it off the counter at my work, and part of the lid broke off, not really the lid, but that removable part on top of the lid broke a little on one end. I know I can get a replacement lid on Temu, so I'm not stressing lol. I was looking for one the other day, and if you have ever been on the Temu website, they like to give you deals lol. I ended up getting a few things, and was given one free item, which was a whole other tumbler, and I did get it for free. Mine looks like the Stanley that you have in the video. I'm very happy with them! I have two that were both free to me lol.
@@DDoyle5618 Thanks for this helpful comment. I ordered some from Temu and I'm hoping that, for that price, they are decent!
@@MiaHessMusic I forgot to mention that my free one didn't include a straw lol. But the other one I was gifted did. I love my tumblers! They are great quality and work great!
Doesn't matter, they are both over-priced -you can do much better for less $$$
