I love the first pair of jeans, slim-straight, dark wash and ankle-length. They look comfy, too, high-rise pants often come up to my ribcage! I find a mid-rise pant is usually high-rise on petite me.

@@poisedpetite I loved A&F’s “High Rise Mom Jean” in X-Short. I def needed their “X-Short”.
I don’t recommend their “High Rise Skinny” Jean…too tight especially in the calves. (And my calves are like matchsticks).
I also like Madewell. But their petite jeans are a tad long. 😔

I found a pair of really straight (slim) jeans from Mark & Spencer's in the UK (Autograph straight jeans with Lyocell in Ocean blue and a darker wash too). The interesting thing about these jeans is that I would normally order the short length to wear with flats. I too am only 5ft. But the regular length was actually better and here's why. The regular length puddles slightly over my shoes, which elongates my legs and makes my hips look less wide. But, because the jeans are slim straight and not bootcut or flares, they do not trail at the back, so no frayed hems. I love these jeans, they're soft and make my bottom look less wide (I'm slim, but my child-bearing hips are wider than I would like and so is my bottom). I would thoroughly recommend them because they're the first straight jeans I found that are really the same width from hip to ankle and do not taper down the leg.

My favourite bootcut jeans are Marks & Spencer's Eva Bootcut, they come in different lengths and washes, only £25 and they make my legs look so long, I have to do a double-take when I look in the mirror. I tuck all my jumpers/sweaters in or I look shorter, except if it's a short boxy fit, maybe with side slits. I can't wear any supersize jumpers.

Ugh I’ve put on so much weight in the last couple years! I can’t fit into my jeans😢. I’m 60 126 pounds 5’1. Used to weigh 115only 3 years ago. I just purchased bootcut jeans in a bigger size, love boot cut! Also ehat is your opinion on wide leg jeans on petites? Can I pull it off lol
Wide leg jeans is really your preference. I know petite women that look fabulous in them. I don’t feel comfortable wearing them, I feel like they aren’t very flattering on me.
What are the inseam length please on these jeans? I am petite in height, being 5' 1" but need a size 10 curvy. Are the 10's and size 12 (my friend's height (also curvy) 5 ' 1 1/2" but can we get them in 26 inch length?
So we are both petite in height but not very petite in body.
Also, we don't wear flats or high heels either but prefer wedge sneakers.
Hi! The 1st pair has a 25” inseam, the 2nd pair has a 26.5 inseam, the 3rd pair is a 27” inseam.

I bought 2 pair Talbot’s petite straight leg jeans and a pair of boot cut. I am 5’0” like Michelle. All had to be hemmed; the straight leg pairs for ankle length and boot cut for booties. None were ‘no hem’

All depends on whether you have longer of shorter legs vs torso. Michele, seems to be a bit longer in the legs is inseam. That determines how it will fit you.
