This is my tribute to the amazing Air France Airbus A380. I was very disappointed to read recently that all ten of these aircraft will be removed from the fleet by 2022.
This flight was part of my fascinating trip to Hamburg, Germany.
Entire flight itinerary: Charlotte-Atlanta-Paris CDG-Hamburg-Paris CDG- Atlanta-Charlotte
Anyone has noticed the antonov 124 ruslan on the background?

Hope you didn't catch anything from the old guy who kept coughing.

I wish to fly on the A380
Great video. After hearing about the retirement of these planes I booked a trip to Paris and will be flying an Air France A380 on the return flight back to LAX. I'm sitting in row 12 as well but in seat L. It looks like row 12 has the best engine / wing view.
That is great ! I hope you have a good trip. You will really enjoy row 12 with the engine view. I sat in 12L coming home and I will post that video soon.
SDMullis Nice. Can’t wait to see it.
yep, it's sad that they don't keep & retrofit at least the 5 the own, they have the network for them. But hey, the A380 will still be flying for decades with others airlines.
From our hotel room we could see a Airfrance a380 takeoff it was epic!
There is something about flying that is so peaceful. I’m hoping to fly from Atlanta to Paris next June, for the first time. I’m very excited! Great video!
Does the A380 visit Atlanta anymore?
yes it does
@@qmathis146 wrong cause I live there and I have never seen an a380 here
Someone sound like Covid-19 on the approach.!!!!!
I've made the flight from Atlanta to Paris a number of times and it's impressive.
people who travel regularly on airplanes are on a different level than us peasants
How can any silly person vote thumbs down on an A380 video?

How much did it cost you?
Wow ! very nice video, excellent working
why don't they put solar panels on airplanes
The most beautiful plane😚
Oooooooh oui.
I live in suburban Atlanta, so this video was especially enjoyable...
First of this flight on the A380 on UA-cam I’ve seen from atl
I am very surprised. It has been going to ATL all summer.
I also got to fly it to and back from my trip to Paris
SDMullis : Has the Air France A380 stop flying to/from Atlanta until late Spring or early Summer?
Is it just “ Seasonal usage?
Thank you in advance for your reply.🌞
Amazing job the most part I loved was The takeoff The menu the sunrise flying over Charlotte during the night in the beginning of the flight it was a beautiful view in Charlotte.
Great plane !!!
Parking with extended leading edge slats and flaps...not the best follow of checklist.
Great Video Mate Very Big Like And Sub.
I did the same journey last August , it was awesome
Can Atlanta handle the a380?
there are 2 a380 gates in atlanta so they can fly into atlanta
Didn't know they fly a380 to atl
Wow, such a quiet take off!
is that the new a380 gate?
14
Are those the Pratt & Whitney engines on this particular aircraft?
Its using a GP7000 by company named Engine Alliance,a combination of PW and GE.
@@caribbaviator7058 Thank you!

Atlanta?? 😳
Why not?
That’s Right!
ATLANTA is a thriving international City!
U said in the description that all 380 will be removed from the fleet! No, they just are gonna keep 5 of them, same thing with lufthansa!!!
Nope, all of them will be removed by 2022. Keeping & retrofitting the 5 they own + 2 in leasing was the original plan, but they decided not to.
Air francw planes are very old
Seasoned.

@@MichaelBSteeleAviation whisper aviation in my ear it turns me on..🥰🥰
???? 2 ans!
VERY NICE!
Thanks !
I’m surprised the A380 was able to take off from runway 9R. That runway is usually used for landings and is only 9000 feet long.
Lol the pilot was like to hell with rules
