@@DaturaPlays Not sure, speculation is their love to push DEI which this game is clearly not a part of. Who knows though, that's just the general speculation.

"Lollipop Chainsaw RePop is a remake of the original Lollipop Chainsaw which follows high school cheerleader and zombie hunter descendant Juliet Starling as she fights through the apocalypse with her boyfriend's severed head at her side.
"'RePop is a definitive version of the game which leaves the story unchanged, with the focus on quality-of- life improvements and additional gameplay content,' Dragami Games CEO Yoshimi Yasuda said in June.
"The game picked up a cult following but in our 5/10 review, IGN said: 'Lollipop Chainsaw doesn't even attempt to differentiate itself from the genre, and most of what it does try new in the realm of its characters and writing ultimately ends up taking away from an incredible-on-paper action game.'"
...
So, basically, they are saying "It's just a remaster and we have already reviewed the original game before," even though in the past they have reviewed remasters of other games, such as The Last of Us Remastered.
Also, they gave the original Lollipop Chainsaw a 5/10 while they gave Dustborn and Concord both 7/10. Lol

A couple tips: You can change your outfit at the shops in-game, and the sparkle hunting is achieved if you decapitate at least 3 zombies in a row. Sorry about the lost progress. 😅 W video! Plz upload more!

Best game ever! Definitely play in original mode. Repop mode is basically the censored mode With no blood and gore.

Bro, the same thing happened to me. I was near the end of the chapter but I had to so something so I exited, expecting to restart from checkpoint. I thought it was just me because otherwise many people would have complained by now. Fortunately the game is really fun so it's not too frustrating to repeat from the beginning of the chapter.
Right? I had a blast replaying tbh + it allows to collect more money and buy more skills / costumes!

I didn't know repop mode removed the comic book style intros for the characters. I played my first playthrough on original mode.
You mean the character screen (with the name and stuff)? I think I got them here! Or they look different? I’m gonna check it out today recording next episode!
@DaturaPlays What I saw on the character screens in your playthrough was just the model. In my playthrough, it was a whole comic book panel that looked gorgeous.
