Unanswered Questions About The Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection

We still don't know everything about the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, and I still have questions. Most importantly, I wonder whether it's worth it to PC players to purchase. The UI and menus are atrocious on the current Steam version of Battlefront 2, specifically. This is why crossplay is so important to the discussion, otherwise PC players might as well keep what they have.
