You two are heroes of mine, I loved Serpent and Mechajammer and cannot wait to play this game. You radiate enthusiasm in the face of overwhelming hostility which is remarkable. Thank you so very much for the work you two do, it is sincerely appreciated and desperately needed!
You know there's Diablo 1 clone for PS1 called Dark Crystal based on Jim's work? It kinda fall of the cliff since PS1 era ended but it was pretty good Diablo 1 clone.
I think this is the best example of the book "Steal like an Artist" that I've seen in a while. What a lovingly crafted homage to the media that clearly sparked the soul of this creation. I know it's a small thing, but I love the live recorded scene at the end of the trailer.
I like the attention to detail. Direct interaction in the store, with chests, I don't know how to describe it, but a kind of "tactility" when interacting with the world.
I’m gaming for little over 30 years now and this the most unique and captivating game I’ve ever seen. It oozes with wonder. Simply incredible. I beg you, Hannah and Joseph, make this game last thousands of hours. It really got to me. And the music, wow, the music. Please publish the soundtrack somehow…
You are so incredibly kind to say all this, I'm so flattered to hear it. I'm an artist and only critical of my stuff, but you've given me some words to put in a pocket for later, thank you
Lots of familiar design elements coming together (with that aesthetic!) to form something that looks like it could be one of a kind. Really curious to see how this turns out.
Thank you so much, that warms my heart to hear. It was fun going back and reimagining parts of the Serpent world for Banquet, we've been discussing that world since the Serpent launch and are happy to be in it again.
* *rolls a 2 on wisdom* * hmmm is your surname actually 'Games' ? Jokes aside, I am damn glad to see another game of yours. been following your work since Serpent in the staglands, even while waiting for the then called "copper dreams" I kept checking the banquet corner of the website. so I laughed in disbelief when I saw "Banquet for Fools" pop up in my recommendations. surely it could not be, I thought myself a fool to have been wondering about this banquet for so long, and looking at it, I must say I am damn hungry.
I couldnt find a twitter account, i just wanted to say. The artstyle looks awesome as hell, it reminds me of Claymation which is cool as hell. I am planning on get this game someday so i can hear more of the ost and play the game.
Looks amazing. Vibe and mood are awesome. It would be great to work with you as an artist but at least you should know your work is very inspiring. I added your game to the wish list and will buy it. Привет из Санкт Петербурга.
I love the aesthetics you have chosen for the game... it reminds me a lot of fantasy movies from the 80s. I really hope the mechanics are good. For my part, I will wait to know what they tell you from GOG (since that is where I have your two other games)
Thank you so much, Dark Crystal and that Conan pagan-y bronze age vibe is exactly what we were going for, so happy to hear that came across. We are really hoping to be on GOG, we get most our games from them as well. They made launching Serpent a lot more fun. Will make an announcement if/when that happens
Thank you so much! We would really love to put something together for this game, if we do we'll be sure to make an announcement next year! If not I'm sure we'll compile a bunch of 3d renders and making-of the camera shoots in a video, I always enjoy when folks do that and would be happy to have that out there for anyone interested.
@@HannahandJosephGames Lovely! Please include any 2d concept art if any as well, love to see what the progression from start to launch. Many blessings on your endeavor!
You guys desperately need to work with a publisher to market this. You have something absolutely incredible on your hands, but it it's not going to make it to its intended audience, or the audience that would absolutely love this game, without some effort putting it out in the right avenues.
This looks like Planescape Torment mixed with Dark Crystal and Morrowind 😮 Are you planning to bring this to other platforms like consoles or something?
Thank you so much! Morrowind was a big inspiration for a lot of the game systems for sure. We're focused on computers for the time being, but there is a work-in-progress controller support in the game and we would love putting it on something if we get the chance.
I love the atmosphere and artstyle
thank you so much!
Looks genuinely amazing, the artstyle alone is s tier
Thanks for the kind words, that makes our day
Please do not revise the art style. This one is good.
lol done
Wow the art style and atmosphere are amazing. It reminds me of a fantasy decayed world... I love this style so much

Good lord the artstyle is GORGEOUS
Now that's how you do a trailer. I love this whole concept.
Wishing you all the best, the style looks absolutely gorgeous!
Hey thank you so much, that makes us so happy to hear
Love the vibe of the game, feels both nostalgic and new. The claymation-like looks to everything is amazing.
Hey thank you, nostalgic and new is what we were going for, so happy to hear it conjured that for you
It's like straight from jim henson's dark crystal.
You know there's Diablo 1 clone for PS1 called Dark Crystal based on Jim's work? It kinda fall of the cliff since PS1 era ended but it was pretty good Diablo 1 clone.
They should have made a Season 2
What an intriguing artstyle. It harkens to claymation for whatever reason!
hard to overstate how impressive this looks. it has the same kind of charm to its design and ui that old PC games used to have
Looks like a stop motion film, I love it
This looks incredible, and after reading about the mechanics on the steam page, I'm really looking forward to trying this. I love an open ended rpg.
Hey thank you, glad you got a kick out of it! Hope you enjoy it if you get a chance to check it out
This looks incredible! Wishlisted!
The psudeo claymation aesthetic brings a ton of atmosphere to the game

Vagrant Story combat system.

This look amazing, I am so excited! Such a unique style and atmosphere!❤
Atmosphere and artstyle is beautiful
Vibe the vibe is calling me.
So glad to see you with a new game again, I loved Serpent in the Staglands and to this day I still check on you guys what you have been up to.
Thank you so much, that warms my heart to hear. It was fun going back and reimagining parts of the Serpent world for Banquet, we've been discussing that world since the Serpent launch and are happy to be in it again.
Now this. I really love this. Dripping with love and passion, amazing stuff!
Thank you for the kind words! That makes us so happy to hear
As a game dev I find everything about this inspiring!
Take love ❤
Thank you so much!
It looks wonderful! Reminds me of old cartoons with real dolls. I hope that on release you will have adequate regional pricing.
Steam has suggestions for that that we typically use, though we'll also be contacting GOG to see if we could be on their store if that's more helpful
This game looks amazing!
It's games like this that really make me regret not having a PC to be able to enjoy such gems.
what the... it looks EXTREMELY cool, finally youtube came up with good recommendations! will play it for sure
Hey thanks so much, glad you enjoyed checking it out!
This looks so awesome. I want it now.
this looks so beautiful
Pretty damn nice ❤
Incredibly cool aesthetic. I love how the shadows and shades mix together. Reminded me of Planescape: Torment and this movie called MAD GOD.
Thank you so much! MAD GOD is incredible
Oh wow. Now this is different. This is special.
looks cool. Gives me "Dark Crystal" vibes
I know this will be one of my favourite games in 2025! I cant' wait!
So happy to hear you're excited! Thanks!!
Looks pretty unique and good
Awesome visuals!
Thanks!
Hi! Cannot wait to play this game! Looks like a dream come true! I love the artstyle, the theme, the spores magic!!! :)
Hey thank you so much! So happy to hear you liked what it's shaping up to be
This looks really good.
Hey thanks man!

As someone said, this art style is perfect, I love it! Would be great to own a physical copy for PS too.
This looks rad as hell. I don't play Early Access games but I'll be there for the launch %100.
Are those pre-rendered backgrounds??? If so, they’re gorgeous! Also, good trailer. The music was just as beautiful and perfectly set the tone
Games are art. See evidence right here. Also, well done trailer btw. Purchased.
It looks so good!

This look really great
Serpent2? Lesss GOoo ))
Wow, what a unique game, I really wanted the opportunity to bring it to my channel, do you have a demo?
Amazing!!!

that vibe you describe is called sword and sorcery!
So stylist wew
Congrats for your accomplishment! The game looks excellent. May be to early but are you planning to produce a concept art book?

Ooooooo! This is going to be good.
Ah, I miss such artstyle
Looks great!
Color me intrigued.
Great style, looks like a mix between Nox and Magic & Mayhem. But don't zoom in so much. 0:35 is a decent level of zoom.
Thanks! There are some perspective shots in the game, mainly indoors, but most of the game does take place at the zoom level of 0:35 as standard.
Uuuh… is that Vagrant Story inspired combat!!?? ⚔️
it looks so good
Thank you!
@@HannahandJosephGames i played the demo today, very unique to bend the turn-based combat into a real time one.
look forward to EA
I'm curious about the combat system, will there be an in-depth tutorial on it?
The diablo sequel I never got... Looks awesome!
Please bring this game to the nintendo switch. It looks wonderful
Beautiful art style and tone, kind of a Dark Crystal x Diablo
You guys desperately need to work with a publisher to market this.
You have something absolutely incredible on your hands, but it it's not going to make it to its intended audience, or the audience that would absolutely love this game, without some effort putting it out in the right avenues.
oh god yes
Art style reminds me of Dark Crystal in a way and Strings

Is it playable on the steam deck?
Reminds me of the real Diablo atmosphere (Diablo2 ofc).
Graphics are similar to poe1+2 gameplay looks crpg enough. 👍👍
based
Hey, i am a fool! Guess this game is for me
It feels like dark crystal
It's giving me OG Diablo & Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain vibes.
Awesome, that's the more casual paced action we were going for. Happy to hear that it reminded you of those classics
Looks amazing and gives off strong Divine/Beyond Divinity vibes -- which I consider the best ARPGs ever made.
Those are favorites of ours too! Miss the old ARPG genre variety
Is unarmed combat possible ?
Hi! Yes there is an unarmed skill. No item repair needed so it's an economical option
This is big if true lmao
unsetling and not stereotype artstylle
DO NOT CHANGE IT PLEASE
Is this a Finnish game? Feels like a Finnish game. And i mean that in a most positive way. UnReal World and Noita are top games.
Let me guess...you two really, really like The Dark Crystal?
Wtf is sex slider? 😂
looks......different and original
