We have been on 2 Australian Sailings of Coral Princess in August and another next Saturday. For the first sailing we paid $40 Australian per person per day for Princess Plus and for the other 2 sailings we paid $50 Australian per person per day for Princess Plus 👍🏽 Great value

Princess just raised their surcharge for the specialty restaurants as of December 16th, 2022. Crown Grill is now $39 up from $29 (a 34% increase) and Sabatini's has gone up to $35 from $25 (a 40% increase)
Hello Joan, sorry to read that. However it doesn't surprise me - the Crown Grill is now price aligned with steakhouses aboard other cruise ships/cruise lines, which are all over $35pp.
If you are on Princess Plus Package and order a drink that is over the $12 limit, you only pay the additional cost of over $12 plus 18% gratuities....is this correct? (eg $16 dollar glass of wine would cost $4 + $0.72 )

Hello, thanks for your comment! That is correct, you only pay the difference as long as it’s within the 15 daily cap!
Pretty sure the 18% gratuity and tips are included now I believe when I spoke to a representative earlier today
Certainly looks like a beautiful ship and excellent footage, well be looking out for some deals, really informative and as I do like an expensive cocktail would have to be the top package for us 😆 fab video

So far only Plus for us. I like knowing up front all my drinks and tips are paid. I hate nickel & diming (its a US term! HA)
Hello Mike! The Princess Plus is a no brainer, and very fair in our view (as long as you can actually order a drink). We're on Navigator of the Seas at the moment, and Royal Caribbean are charging $104pp per day, which doesn't even include WiFi. When you compare, you realise that what Princess is offering is actually very reasonable indeed.

Yes, that is an area the package could be improved! Maybe give the passenger the option of an extra speciality meal for example. We're looking at publishing the first MSC Virtuosa video two weeks today :)
I will be sailing on Enchanted Princess in June. I have Plus package and I can see on my account extras such 2 speciality desserts and 2 fitness classes...not sure if that is part of Plus package or extra from our TA but nice to see anyways.
Similar to you. We believe that because we purchased the previous Plus Package, the extras will not be available to us. We have been advised that we have to upgrade and pay an extra $15 pp per day

Hi, can we buy Princess Plus package onboard the cruise? Do we pay full fare if purchase onboard?
Hello Jeff, you can either take out this package when you book - or add it on on embarkation day!
For a 7 day cruise, do you buy all 7 days (for a drink package) even though you don't sail until 4 pm, then arrive at 6:15am?
Hello Jeana, the drink package kicks in as soon as you board and lasts until the early hours of the last morning! Hope that helps!

We are choosing Princess Plus for our first cruise so we can enjoy beverages without being scared of being nickel and dimed. That said, we are not big drinkers but we enjoy mocktails, smoothies, juice bar and fitness classes. We also like that gratuity is included in the fee.
Last time we cruised with Princess we had the basic (Standard), and then quickly upgraded because we drink quite a bit, so made sense to save money instead of getting each drink individually
Glad you felt it was the right choice! Princess Plus is always are preferred fare type when we cruise with Princess!

Not at all. To be fair to Princess, they're offering quite a lot compared to many other cruise lines - including those in the same Premium cruise category! As long as you can order a drink that is ha!

Then you should be in AA and not on a cruise with unlimited liquor
