Monthly Update June 2024: a broken SL, £500 SLK MOT results and a road trip for the SLK?

In this episode of Steven’s Four Wheels, there’s an update on all of my cars. The SL is going back to the SL Shop, the older SLK passed it’s MOT and am I still selling my newer SLK?

Steven. For the SL brakes and cutting out. Could possibly be related to the Overvoltage protection relay. Could be starting to break down internally, the solder does go bad eventually. The ABS is powered via the OVP as is the idle control module. When you get an unstable or high idle combined with an ABS light on, it is a good place to start. When you shut the doors, they are heavy enough to shake things up. Worth a look anyway. OVP is behind the glove box.
