I actually prefer Piet's version. He manages to make the language understandable.
Frankly comparing Dimash to Piet is like comparing Mozart to Van Halen.
Both are incredible but different.
Forget about the whistle tone I'm a very big Dimash fan Piet I believe took us on a better rollercoaster and really touched my soul
it's a shame that the so called "Dears" can be such hatefull people, obviously Dimash is a master with his instrument and of course there is no point of comparison. But hey, this guy have talent. Yes, this is not a live performance, but if people take the time to check out his channel, you can see he is actually awesome. Stop comparing Dimash to Piet, because there is no comparison that can be done, this is just a HOMAGE that this guy made to Dimash and to the song itself. All we need is love, may all be blessed.

Hey Dimash ' s dears...it would be nice you to be more respectful and stop treating other singers so rude...I'm sure Dimash is not very proud of your attitude...to me both of them are angels and this world is enough big for both of them. I am sure if this guy would have had the same possibilities for training his vocal abilities as Dimash has, he would totally have been more popularized. It's not only that his vocal range is widest than Dimash as far as I understood, but he has the same power as Dimash to deliver emotions, to make my soul fly, therefore both of them deserve respect and love.
I see here are many haters of Piet Arion.
I mean it is completely right that he uses many tuning effects in his cover and that this is not comparable with Dimash.
But we have to be respectful to Piet Arion, for this great visual performance and this harmonic version of this bug song.
But you can't say that he isn't able to sing.
He do his best to show his inspirations of music to us and we should give him more respect.
How many singers of today also use a lot of effects in their performances and music videos ?
Dimash is a real vocal talent.
I mean it is sad how many negative critic you get as a voice teacher, you know that there are effects, but don't worry about bad feedback.

Dimash is dry, generic and whiny.
How do you know he can't hit those whistle notes, Dimash hits those notes, Dimash isn't the only one in the World to hit Whistle Notes.
I love both Piet and Dimash, but to compare them would be like comparing apples and oranges. Dimash is a showman with incredible talent and elaborate stage productions while Piet has evolved into an artist with a rare talent who has star quality with excellent stage presence. He comes across with more sensitivity in interpretation - and with stunning surprises with his technique, stamina and incredible range that seems to come so seamlessly and easily resulting in a remarkable performance. His mixed voice and whistle notes are sublime... Both Piet and Dimash so unique and gifted in their own ways.
After seeing Piet's video of his version of Morissett's Akin Da Na Lang I would love to see Piet in a duet with Morissette... Now that would be magic.

I am very surprised by the insincerity of this reactor. Years ago, she accused Dimash of being a fake, but she doesn’t see that fake shot. Tasteless!
My friend, to be fair, Piet Arion use some studio effects in his voice on that cover (especially the whistle at the end), but that doesn't mean that he can't sing live, I believe that he can sing this song live, of course the quality of his voice will be worse than this video, but it will still be good enought to be considered a good cover
I totally disagree with people who says that he can't sing live, because even with the special effect in the voice, you can notice some talent in his voice.

Piet uses electronic manipulation on a computer in a recording studio to make his voice sound this good. Needless to say unlike Dimash, he's unable to sing live. Listen carefully to his whistle notes, they are a synthesiser not his true voice.
