Northern Shoveler - good use of bill
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 лют 2025
- Northern Shovelers (Spatula clypeata) have a large wide-flat bill.
It helps them to find food effectively. They use their bills to strain food from the water. Their bills act like sieves, allowing the birds to skim plankton from the water surface.
Sometimes large groups swim in circles to stir up food.
