Probably one of the best and strongest episodes in the series. I love when Harry tries not to laugh when something goes wrong or a joke is just really good 🤣
FYI harry made the gummo reference because a contestant on x factor sang a song from the film (crying by roy orbison) for the show's 'movie week' episode which happened a couple of weeks before this episode of tv burp. the song was simon cowell's choice and he described gummo as a 'cult movie'. louis walsh had never heard of gummo
I always think that! Props to the props department but it seems to be a shorter list of prop workers than id expect (I've worked on TV...it's not as fun as people might think) But yeah absolutely highest praise to Harry and the team x
Harry: "And dirty boy on Autumnwatch." Chris Packham: "This week my treat was to meet Bob Haycock, a man who has been studying Chuffs for 15 years." 😂 Harry: "l bet he has, the dirty boy. The dirty rotter."
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"

I went to a recording of Harry's teatime show - a LOT goes into these shows with recording scenes, props, guests etc
Harry tries his best not to laugh when the audience laughs .
Thought it was pre recorded laughs
