Yes i bought it today and it leaks in pouch/geometry box with just some movements only and my all stuff got dirty with this so it needs some careful to store but it's a good pen

Basically, as the fountain pen works because of capillary effect, if we put waterproof ink then it will clog the feed after drying and you may not be able to write with that.

if you want to write in water or after writing you will immersed your copy in water then go for waterproof ink. Other wise it is easy to recycle the paper that you used. so basically non water proof inks are more ecofriendly.
