- Shawn asks: I know the bible say to tithe and to bring the full tithe to the storehouse. Most believe this is the local church. But what if I give the majority to my church, a portion to CTVN and a portion to the radio station KLOVE, as I am fed spiritually from all 3. Is that OK?
One of my pastors is always pleading for people to give to Voice Of The Martyrs ministry and to preach it. He believes him and his family are healthy and prosperous because they tithe to it. I have been giving to it and have been blessed by my giving. Every time I give to it our boss gives me and my spouse much easier work and I get healing in my posture, digestion and metabolism. So do try it and enjoy the blessings of your giving it really is great! Praise God, hallelujah! 🤗
The storehouse was a place in the temple where food and produce was stored to provide for atonement sacrifices and sustenance for those in the temple. Only Levites could go in the temple and the storehouse had nothing to do with money. There's no such thing as a biblical monetary tithe.
Your message is a bit contradicting. You state you should give a majority to church and then give what ever else to another establishment. Then you go on to say that you and your wife split the tithing she gives to church and you give else where....that's pretty much only tithing half. The word tithe means a tenth. The storehouse is not only church, it can be a shelter, or supporting a ministry that is doing things for God, supporting a family, a widow someone in hunger etc. God only knows your heart and just because you don't get a slip at the end of a year from your local church showing how much you have tithed doesn't mean you didn't tithe in other ways in secret.

The modern church is not a storehouse for given money because one cant biblically tithe of ones wages or income
God doesn't contradict himself. And God is not the author of confusion [ 1 Corinthians 14:33 ].
If you are receiving the tithes and offerings from jews or gentiles, under the levitical priesthood law of God, or if you are tithing under the levitical priesthood law of God: it is written, cursed is everyone that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that do them shall live in them [ Galatians 3:10-12 ].
God ordained the Levi tribe of Israel, to receive tithes and offerings from the children of Israel, according to the law [ Hebrews 7:5 ].
Gentiles have no authority from God to receive tithes and offerings from jews or gentiles, because gentiles are not from the levitical priesthood tribe of Israel.
You can give to the poor freely [ Acts 20:35 ]. God loves a cheerful giver [ 2 Corinthians 9:7 ].
We that believe are justified by the faith of Jesus Christ. We are not justified by the law, because the law is not of faith.
I haven't attended a local church in years. I do however support a couple of charities. Should the tithe go to a charity?
If you choose. There's nothing wrong with tithing to a charity.
There is no even one word of God in new testament about tithe. But according to new testament we should give more than tithe to God.
Definitely watch CBN's utube videos about financial freedom, in these videos people share about when they started tithing to CBN they started experiencing financial miracles of wealth. Now they tithe to CBN from a prosperous wealthy income. 🤗🙏
One of my pastors preaches a similar story only it's about his blessings from tithing to Voice Of The Martyrs Ministry. When he started tithing to that ministry someone gave him and his family a beautiful house and his daughter found success in a modeling career and they're all healthy and prosperous.

A church, a woman or man of God, charity or someone who blesses you spiritually. Can even be a gospel musician. You can divide it too.
If I change my location regularly, can I also change the store for my tithe?
We're free to give as we are directed and we're able. There's no such thing as a biblical tithe received from earned wages.
You don't owe anyone or any church a monetary tithe commanded by any scripture
Stop blowing your trumpet! Your message is very harmful to the Lords flock. Your message is legalistic, any one who is legalistic can not bear fruit. You just might be paying your tithing (l do not thing so!) but l know you're not bearing fruit. Jesus said repent, take up your cross and be lead by the Spirit. Christians pay taxes, which pays for Church's , the poor and many other things. The tith was a tax. If you walk in the Spirit the Lord will teach how to give or were to give, for God will judge the greedy person. How is your Spiritual life? materialism does not bring you closer to God, but only the spiritual things, like Death to the Flesh
