I worked at a women's DV/SA shelter where they could bring their children. I only did this for a few months. I met a woman who was illegally immigrating to the US and the coyotes did the EXACT same thing to her, that Tim brought up in the beginning. She crossed the border, she paid them, they then demanded more money (which they knew she didn't have), took her to a house in a small town, separated her from her children, threw her in a room, and sold her over and over and over again. She got away with her kids and came to us. The trauma is almost beyond belief. There absolutely are women and children being trafficked in your town. You'd never know it if you didn't know the signs. They get to the point where they can come and go, but they're so terrified that they end up always returning to the house. It doesn't look the way you think it does. You may think, "oh, that's just a drug house or a party house". Or, "these people sure have a lot of friends". Most street prostitutes are trafficked. Most were trafficked as children. It's a crime that happens right under our noses, and it is EVERYWHERE.

I worked at a women's DV/SA shelter where they could bring their children. I only did this for a few months. I met a woman who was illegally immigrating to the US and the coyotes did the EXACT same thing to her, that Tim brought up in the beginning. She crossed the border, she paid them, they then demanded more money (which they knew she didn't have), took her to a house in a small town, separated her from her children, threw her in a room, and sold her over and over and over again. She got away with her kids and came to us. The trauma is almost beyond belief. There absolutely are women and children being trafficked in your town. You'd never know it if you didn't know the signs. They get to the point where they can come and go, but they're so terrified that they end up always returning to the house. It doesn't look the way you think it does. You may think, "oh, that's just a drug house or a party house". Or, "these people sure have a lot of friends". Most street prostitutes are trafficked. Most were trafficked as children. It's a crime that happens right under our noses, and it is EVERYWHERE.
What in the hell is wrong, we have military, we need special forces, this should never happen. 😭😡😡😡

People are crying about the 500 kids that are not connected with their parents during the debate. The question is are these kids being trafficked. Why not take all the precautions to protect these kids to be certain that they are reunited to their real parents or guardians and not to cartels/coyotes. People need to wake up!
