I've tried to use this turtorial for a recent flood in Armenia, but instead of flood map I finally got radar shadow map. How can I use Sentinel data for mountain areas?
Dear sir/madam after extraction of water body it shows error while exporting the image in Google Earth format. Also, it can exported in other format (like geotiff/bigtiff) but shows error while opening in ArcGIS or in QGIS. One request if you can resolve the issue while exporting in Google Earth

SAR data are problematic for mountain area. I recommend You to use Sentinel-2 and try map flooding based on some indices like NDVI and NDWI.
