Although the cause of his death was not yet confirmed, fans and the media are speculating he died of a possible overdose. Mac struggled with his addiction throughout his music career. He even admitted he was heavily abusing drugs to cope with the stress of producing his music. In an interview, he even stated that “Faces” was supposed to be his very last mixtape.
