Thank you for your work. Here, in Amerika, as a homeless veteran who can no longer work for the very entities that enslave us, I see the ecovillage as a solution to the "problems" we are having in our Country. We need a model for our urban sprawl that works with nature instead of against it, while creating worthwhile work that can earn a person a living while revitalizing the lost American dream (of home ownership) and providing the stable framework to actually solve the problems around homelessness/hopelessness. Wow, that was a freakin mouthful! 😂

I’ve enjoyed watching your videos from my home in Narara Ecovillage where our vision is similar but different to Damanhur’s & certainly to provide education and conversation on ways we can collaborate to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and regenerate as much as possible.🌏

I am to happy to find you in UA-cam and the process of spiritual awakening is not easy. I really want to start my new life in eco village. While I am living in Hong Kong, my mind have been swinging as you said, am I going to spend my days alone cabin or being hopeless in the environment that not supporting intentional life. What your sharing and experience have shown that it is possible and we need more communities care the earth and human, making money to support each other as well. Thank you for showing me your beautiful path. May I ask you how can I plan before heading to the eco village?

Thank you. What do you find is most needed in the community that is lacking? Or is it more like come as you are and there is a trust that you have been gifted with talents that will automatically “dovetail” with what is needed for the community? I love this idea of coming with wanting to give more than receive❤❤❤

@@pauladavis7020 funny enough it’s entrepreneurs, administrators, people with skills in social media and other.. like any other organisation. However the best is to create your own job without weighting on the community ☺️☺️

Thank you so much for this video Celastrina ❤️❤️
Your experiences and the lessons you've learned really help to ignite that fire in me that I need to manifest the way I want to earn my income and live. And it was, of course, at exactly the time I needed to be☺️

One day I'd like to live a sustainable place as well😊, most likely back home in Bulgaria. Having a way to make a living (apart from the food produce or events made locally) is something I think about often as well, thank you for the ideas!

We’re a cozy enough community here, I’m fairly certain that you remember my mentioning of my intention to move to Italy, and subsequently Damanhur, in the coming years.
I’m so glad that you made this video. This is a question that I’ve wondered about many times. I’ll be moving to Italy to teach English as a foreign language to children, and I hope to be able to balance living in Damanhur and also teaching English at a school outside of the community, or perhaps even from within the community. I wonder how possible this would be.
I understand that teaching is not your area of expertise, but I was wondering if you have any relevant insight or other information that could be of use to me, whether it be about Damanhur, how many people actually speak English in the community, what schools may be around the community, anything you have is much appreciated! Thank you Celastrina!

Hello Christian! Yes of course I remember ☺️
I’m happy that this video has been useful, when it comes to teaching English I think Italy is a good place because people speak very little but are aware that they need to learn, especially in and around intentional communities.
In Damanhur for sure there is an interest, both from people and in our school. There are also many schools around that might be interested in young English teachers that are actually international ☺️☺️

@@celastrinarebecka This is wonderful to hear! It’s good to know that there are people there with a desire to learn.
In the video, you mentioned the benefit of having unique skills that would add richness, diversity, and utility to the community. If there are enough people with a willingness to learn English as a common language, I think that could be a fantastic opportunity to explore in an effort to unify everybody and give them a platform to communicate with people that come to Damanhur from all over the world.
Even if such an opportunity does not present itself, to teach outside of the community while living within it, that would be a dream.
Thank you for all you do, Celastrina. I yearn to give life to my ambitions, and your videos give me a taste of that life, a brief glimpse of what is to come.
      Many blessings ❤
Edit: And just as a fun side note, I have some music to share with you!
Check out Siv Jakobsen on whatever streaming platform you use for music! She’s a Norwegian indie folk artist with such a beautiful voice and atmosphere. You might like her!

My English is not so good so I have some questions.. I would like to live in your community. But would I need to be afraid that I don't find any job and would probably not afford the life there? My biggest fear would be that I would need to go back where I come from because I would not afford that life there. 😥

I am really open to learn new things and would even work 40hours a week and do my best to be a helpful part of the community.. 🥺 I just want to be free from this sick system..
