  • In my last video ( • Building chords from m... ), I showed a technique for building chords with Eurorack by quantizing and sequencing multiple monophonic oscillators. The process was slow and required a lot of manual work. We can achieve the same results much more quickly by taking advantage of the features of the Bard Quartet quantizer!

Was just wondering yesterday how easy it would be to create chords with the Bard. Thanks so much for simplifying this process. Well done.

Can it address the harmonies non-sequentially? That is, moving from slot 2 to slot 6 (for example) without passing through the intermediate slots (3,4,5)?

Yes! If you hold the μTune button, turning the Harmony potentiometer will not change the scale until you release the button. And of course, if you're controlling the harmony with CV, you can send it exact voltages that correspond to each of the harmony slots to jump between them.

@@Perceptes Excellent news! Thanks very much for confirming. The ability to address/random access specific slots through cv is crucial to me. Thanks again :)
