I was just watching another homesteading channel that was singing the praises of an electric plastic mill. I don't do plastic, but I do use cast iron. Thank you for having quality products that don't endanger our health or the planet.

I've had mine for almost 20yrs and absolutely love it! I use it for grinding spelt most often, but have used it for corn a few times as well.

I would so appreciate a video showing how to clean and reassemble this model. I tried cleaning mine that I inherited and now it's barely grinding. I don't know if I put the pieces back on wrong (I don't think I did, because it's fairly intuitive and some only lock in a certain way/in a certain order) or if it's too tight or what.

Is there a video available showing disassembly and cleaning between grains? Does it need to be oiled? what type of oil?

Can't find a picture of the grinding burr plate of the Green Power Grain Mill. I really like to see the grinding burrs of all the steel plates.

We were gifted one of these from my husband's cousin years ago, and never used it, though I did - and do! - realize its value. Now I've begun to mill my own flour, and am not truly satisfied with the MockMill attachment for my KitchenAid. Beloved Husband has hooked this mill up to a motor (yay for Beloved Husband!) and I want to use the Diamant to mill. I wish you guys would make a more detailed and extensive video on how to use the mill, but I guess that I'll have to muddle through - and the Beloved Husband is no slouch at figuring things out, so....

Were you able to figure it out? I'm not very mechanical and some of the comments make me feel a bit reluctant to buy (i need to know how to clean it). Thanks.

Mr.Lehman have you ever thought of making a miniature version of this fo grinding spice ???
Remember everyone need one like that specially if you make that with the extra extra fine burr to make the spice very smooth !!!!
    Think about it Mr.Lehman

G'day LuckyB, from everything I have read on line, this works well with corn and oilier grains. Many mills get clogged up or don't feed corn well but apparently this does the job. I am ordering one myself and had the same question.
