- Phoksundo Lake is famous for its magnificent turquoise color and the spectacular scenery clearly rank it with the most scenic mountain parks in the world. For the fourth episode of our travel Series, we went to Phoksundo. Shey Phoksudo Lake lies in the Shey Phoksundo National Park, which has an elevation of 3,611.5 m above sea level. It is an alpine freshwater lake that is regarded as the sacred place for the Buddhists and followers of the Bonpo religion. It is surrounded by rocky cliffs and deep forests.

This makes me very emotional. I am from Nepal but as my family moved to India even before I was born. Now I am an Indian citizen but everytime I see Nepal it makes me miss Nepal. even though I don't know much about the places and people. May be its my root where I belong.

the journey on road is more thrilling than the destination itself.. As a traveller I also recommend documentation on roads, the people and the places.. This looks like a luxury travel to a remote destination which is not exactly what exploring is all about.
I like the presentation however My frank opinion is there's more commercialisation on hotels, brands etc... If it had been lesser on these we'd appreciate the travel documentation.
