Hello,👋🏼 I was wondering if anyone can help with a concern and worry I’m dealing with? My worry is mobile phones and mobile apps won’t be around or available for my lifetime I’m 31 years old? I’m just concerned that’s all. Just need some reassurance that they’ll be available or around for my generation or lifetime at least. 👍🏼 Appreciate the input and help from everyone!! 🙏🏼
Sure, image based sigs are pretty. But you can't copy and paste details from an image. If I get an email with a signature and it includes things like the sender's address, phone, and other details, I have to type those details into a new contact card, instead of copying and pasting them from text provided in the original message. Having to type those details leaves me open to making errors/typos. Also, if a recipient uses text-only emails (some people choose to render their received messages as text to cut down on message sizes or guard against phishing emails that try to hide nefarious links), then using an image means your contact details don't show up at all for that recipient. You can still have pretty sigs - you just need to take a different approach. Maybe Kevin and his team can show us how to craft a sig using Word - tables can be used for this purpose, and can be cleverly formed to make sure your contact details are text based.
Email signatures should have text for urls/emails/phone# so that people can USE the information contained within it. Turning them into images defeats the primary purpose of the signature in exchange for design.
@@ElizabethGregg46 A link, to a url. However each item within the signature should be it's own and also be easily exportable / clickable so that people don't have to read an image to type in your phone number for instance. is underutilized and in modern computing becoming more readily usable.
I wondered why this video was so professional and easy to follow. Then I noticed the name Kevin Stratvert. I should have known. I've been watching his videos for years. They are always full of great information and step-by-step.
Good video but it would have been nice to see how to add alternative text for the signature image so people with visual impairment could obtain the same information from the signature. I wish more UA-camrs would teach how to make more accessible content.
Thank you for this tutorial! Is there a way to keep the contact information as text and just the logo/photo as an image? I think it can be handy to copy and paste phone numbers or click email addresses directly from signatures.
Yes! The end of the video will show you how to insert a link so that it's clickable. If you just want to create an image and insert it, you would follow the same steps and then add your text and hyperlinks next to it. Thanks for watching!
They are the two most invasive and non private email services on the internet. Google and Microsoft effectively read and own the contents of your mail.
The "only" downturn with this way is that your whole signature can be linked only to one "link" (web or mail) ... if you simply insert your elements in outlook signature editor you can have link to mail, link to web etc.
Thank you for the tutorial. The quality of images from Canva however are horrible. Is there anything I can do to improve the image quality in Gmail? Thanks.
The image is very blurry when you upload it to Gmail because it is so small (400 x 200 px) and you cannot change it on the free version. Nor did you say we needed to but it comes across very blurry. What do you suggest please?
I did the exact same thing and it keeps saying signature too long. I also tried removing the clickable links and keep being met with he same error. I've tried jpg, png, making the image smaller etc. do you have any tips?

Nope. Nope. Nope. Having a signature like that conveys you care more about visuals than actual content. Oh look - 30% content and 70% ridiculous signature !!!

Very nicely done. I've always wanted to do this. Thank you.

I don’t like the fact that you can’t click on the phone number or copy and paste something in the signature
Great video! I've never knew this is possible with Canva......

Which email service do you use?
Thank you so much for your informative and excellent presentation.

Hey Kevin, you look very different in the thumbnail!
Well done
Thank you, this will help our small business on a $0 budget...LOL
One concern: guard the electronic signature so it doesn’t open a door to forgery.
I like this but by adding an image to the signature, you can't include more than one hyperlink to your social accounts, website etc.
Thank you for the tutorial.

so helpful
Is there a way to add multiple clickable links within the email signature?
The image is very blurry when you upload it to Gmail because it is so small (400 x 200 px) and you cannot change it on the free version. Nor did you say we needed to but it comes across very blurry. What do you suggest please?
Can you add a font to Canva and how do you do it?
Yes! Insert a text box and then click on the drop down for fonts. At the bottom you'll see "Upload a font". Thanks for watching!
@@ElizabethGregg46 Thank You.

Try resizing the image. The only reason I can think of is that the size (weight of the file) is too large.
Ty
You’re not Kevin! 😱
Are you able to add a "clickable" website link?
Yes! The last part of the video shows you how!
Thanks but i don't got nothing 😢😢
Omg...what a mouth❤❤. Her lip is stunning🤩🤩

Did she look in the mirror before they shot this video ? Her hair is not neat
Are you here to learn or to see how she looks? Ungrateful thing.
Don't be RUDE. Have some manners and be grateful for the help you are getting from this lovely lady.
She is on video. Who isn’t going to look on the screen ? So I’m supposed to close my eyes and listen. Make it make sense
@@IrlymMylros Do you go to work with your hair not done. I doubt it
Thank you, clear information
