The 🇺🇸 has not banned ownership of firearms. That is somewhat the only reason the U.S. citizens have the ability to hold our govs feet to the fire. If by some life altering event all citizens of the U.S. United against the government, because of some collective harm from our government, 👀it would be the worst gorilla warfare the world has ever seen.
Of course the government has measures in case there are uprisings, but in the U.S. the uprising would be much harder to quail due to our 2nd amendment rights. Americans don’t just go around shooting ppl. Yes, we have awful crimes being committed at this very moment with a firearm somewhere in the U.S.
But, firearms are our protection against the “Monsters”. Those monsters can come in the form of our Neighbors, &/or our Government.
