In Canada we have a holiday train that runs from the east coast to the west coast. It’s all lit up in really nice Christmas lights. It came through my city last night so I went to see that.
Here where I live in the UK, there is a Christmas Tree Festival. Local businesses and charities decorate their trees and is in the main church. Normally in excess of 230 trees.
may be if you take the paper from back of the earrings. somewhere 4:47-5:00. i taught i saw you rolled 5 sheets instead of 3. thanks for your stories, very interesting that you have lots, for me is just xmas parties
Your holiday plans sound like so much fun! I hope you’ll share some for Vlogmas. I lovvvve Sturbridge Village. My family and I used to go as a kid and have great memories of it. Have fun!! ❤
Another awesome video!! We go to the Cincinnati Zoo Festival of Lights. On Christmas Eve my teen/adult kids watch the Polar Express, eat fresh baked cookies, and drink hot chocolate!!! Can’t wait for tomorrow’s video!!!
I am from India. So, all our major holidays here start from the months of August/September. And the major celebrated by most in my community is the festival of Deepavali/Diwali. It usually comes any time from mid-October to mid-November. And this is one festival where everyone comes together irrespective of where they are in the world.
Here in Australia, with sweltering Summer temperatures, there are starting to be some drive around maps to people who have decorated their homes, the supermarkets playing traditional British winter Christmas songs on repeat, but the best part is all the Carols by Candlelight - all around the country people gather in parks at dusk (I should say not on the same day, depends on area event timing) with friends, families and a picnic to sing the night away. There are usually a couple of huge televised ones in capital cities.
🥰 gingerbread gift wrap. For Thanksgiving growing up we will be out of town on some years . Other years we stay home it all depends on the year itself. For Christmas, growing up we always stayed 🏠. Currently this year I stayed 🏠 which is fine with me because as a cancer survivor with constant appointments (minus the last two weeks of the month) it can be difficult to do things, but thankfully there are other times in the year to do things. 😅 dating story and ⛸️ . ❤ 🥹 the small towns. I lived in small towns in the late 90s.
I love that gingerbread man wrapping paper! It looks nice and thick ☺️ As to traditions…when my kids were little we’d drive around and look at Christmas lights, and go to downtown Christmas events. My favorite Christmas though was spent in Florida ❤ we took the kids to Disney World and paid the extra to stay for the after park closing Christmas party. It was amazing and magical ☺️
It's summer in the South Hemisphere, so here in New Zealand there's lots of craft markets to go to, evening BBQs with friends, a swim at a beach if the weather is cooperating and there are Christmas light tours of some of the neighbourhoods that are doing it (it's not as big as it is in the States). We're stocking up on groceries for Christmas Day lunch and dinner. Roast lamb, or pork or a baked ham, and of course got to have (sometimes we'll make) a Pavlova, fruit mince pies and a huge fruit salad (don't forget the traditional fruit cake for Nana).
The gingerbread man reading a book with the pink background is my favorite design of yours! I bought the bookmark, the washi, some sticker sheets and vinyl, the Pouch, the mug, all 3 sizes of the book sleeve, so many wrapping papers! I have to wait til my next paycheck to get the blanket, and t-shirt & pajama pants. LOL. Next year, can you put this design on hardcover notebook and soft non-spiral notebook, scrunchies, and notepad too. I did get the cozy gingerbread notepad which was so cute. 😊
Ok, I have to share I have a funny dating story too. We were in Memphis and were going out for the night. I had fallen a few days earlier and was in a knee cast because of an ankle injury. It was raining cats and dogs and my husband (date at the time) decided we should go out I wanted to stay in who goes out in a rain storm with a leg cast?? We wrapped my leg in plastic and he carried me on his back piggyback style through the streets of Memphis because water was running everywhere! I wanted to stay in but he was convinced we "could do this". We did that forty years ago.
Going a Christmas market for two days next week. And going to eat authentic German food those two days. Then go look at Christmas lights at a local hotel. Going to Cirque du Soleil to watch a show. Then doing tea party on the 25th of December. I understand what u mean by slowing down for the holidays. I know before I got sick in 2020 and stroked I worked as a nurse and I felt like I couldn’t do much or spend time with my family. Idk getting sick and retard early I appreciate this time with my family but it goes fast.
Ok, so today is Dec 12th and so far I've vended at two events (Nov 30th small businesses Sat. & Dec 7th xmas market). Unfortunately, both were a bit slow. Next up will be Dec 14th Winterfest night market I will be vending at. Dec 20th is my mom's bday. She's not sure yet if she'll be going to nyc to visit family or staying. We shall see what she decides on. Then Sat Dec 21st is my bday! I will also be vending at my last market for 2024 at a spiritual bookshop & more store. It's called Spiral Circle Bookstore and More. They sell crystals, candles, books, tarot/oracle etc cards, and so much more. It's also the winter Solstice and we will be celebrating that too. The 25th is hubby and I anniversary of 23 years together. Lastly, Dec 30th is my hubby's bday. This time of year is filled with a lot as you can see 😂. Since I don't do markets in the summer due to the heat and my body not handling it well, I'm making up for it during this season. There are a lot of places here in FL (Orlando) where you can go to see light exhibitions at botanical gardens, parks, farms etc but they get so crowded. We may or may not go to one. Depends on one...my feet and two the crowds. Happy holidays!
After seeing you packing I'm looking at your ceiling height by your bookmark area. I don't think the ceiling will accommodate your wire racks. I think you will lose the top shelf. Just trying to help you, I tend to change my craft space a lot.

Hi emily
Hi hi! 🥰
@emilycromwelldesigns how are you doing today

I’ll lose the top shelf but I’ll be able to fit more of them so it should hopefully even out 🥰
