This makes me so proud to have been a member of the USAFS BANDS for 23 years! Fantastic march taken at a bright clip! In cut time, Half note = 160 BPM then accelerando to the end!!!!! Quarter note tempo = 320BPM and 1/8 note = 640 BPM
we are playing this in band and i’m struggling so much 😭 like i can single tounge it great! and fast! but when it comes to double tounging i can barely make 90 bpm 2/2

Wow, I've never seen trombone slides move SO FAST! Way to go Guys!

Very nice tight trombone section. Very clean. Excellent job.

Did Fillmore really intend for it to be played that fast?
They blend together so well, but you can tell it's multiple trombones not just one.
Yes, the entire band is great - but this is about the 'Bones'!
YOOOOO!! I finally found the piece I was looking for! They played this at WTAMU band camp back in 2022 and it brought me to tears. This goes hard 🔥🔥
Bravo! Outstanding Guys! 👍
I love 💕 trombone 💕✈️🇺🇸✈️🇺🇸✈️🇺🇸✈️
As do we!
That was incredible!!! I just started learning this piece yesterday (10 Jan 2024).
One of my favorite marches. Loved playing this back in "the day".
We still love playing it! It's exhilarating.

Rolling thunder! Isn’t that the name of the Canadian Freedom motor protest in Ottawa?

I thought we weren’t supposed to play Fillmore because he was a racist.
Way too fast...
