They work so well together that its hard to believe they are brother and sister and that music, its mesmerizing. They preformed this at the 2010 Olympics and I found it to be one of, if not the best performance of the competition.

I just discovered this and just as the song started playing in this video, I thought that the original Crawling actually has a connection with ice, which is pretty cool. The music video for Crawling was done using a green screen and special effects. One of the main themes of the video was the lead singer Chester Bennington, as well as a girl who appears in a video, both having issues with mental health, which started as a result of them being sexually abused. Their problems, insecurities, fear, lack of self control and inner demons were represented by an ice cave, in which the band performed the song in the music video. Music (Chester performing and girl watching/listening) gave them a new hope, helped them take back control, defeat fear and their demons. This was represented by the ice cave melting and falling apart since the third choruse, as heavy hitting guitars, bass and drums, Chester's powerful vocals and ice melting samples kept making the ice disappear until it was all gone, bringing a smile to the girl's face again. The remix didn't have a video, as it's meant purely as a listening pleasure, but if it had one, ice would likely be featured once again. The warmth of these athletes/artists together with the song makes ice and heart melt
Men tend to weigh much more than women by default, and since women also have less muscle mass by default the feat of a woman lifting a man and still managing some sick ass twirly whirls should be worth double or even triple points. Instant first, great co-ordination. Unbeatable. The best. Woman lifting a man? Brownie points, levels the playing field for women. Lifting a man is hard enough as a woman, that should be worth double points, or at least an approving nod, anything but a penalty. That's not equality, and feminism should be correcting these systems that prefer one gender over the other. That's not me going full-on SJW, fuck the other 61 genders, we have enough inequality with the two we have. We need to strike at the heart of these systems that put one gender over the other without any recourse, because the parts in your pants decide your score before you even perform your routine.
@sstansbe Sometimes the scores are low because it's the choice of music, sadly. I saw this competition on an American broadcast and one of the commentators said that this type of music will appeal to younger audiences but will be tough to the "older" judges.
Well then you'd be discriminated against because women aren't allowed to lift men like this lady did and the judge threw them into fifth place for that. Yay equality!
This was an impressive if very minorly flawed. Missing on one of the requirements doomed them. Still very worthy. The Canadian team was good, but not gold medal good, actually lackluster and tedious for most of it.
Incorrect. There was no reward for the originality of the program and originality of the lifts. We've seen some of those same tired performances from a few of the leaders for years and years. Not saying the Kerr's should have medalled, but they were much much better than the French team that finished ahead of them.
Yeah...the music is awesome, but doesn't appeal to the majority of figure skating viewers (that is to say those over 300. Also, artistically they're very strong, but a bit loose when it comes to technique. Not a strong enough body line, and occasionally sloppy. But very good, still.
it was suposed to go with the theme of their dance. But i think they could have found a better song. He was supposed to be some street rat who went ownhill and she became his saviour, was the story behind the dance. Risky choice.
