Makes sense to split a bag of coffee between the air tight cannister and leaving the remainder in the bag for the week.
Would it make sense to purchase this if I'll be opening it everyday to use the beans or is it just for storage?

I’ve recently gotten a few of these and love them. Unfortunately one of them loses pressure after a week. I rubbed some olive oil on the rubber seal and that seemed to help. But then was told by the distributor not to do that and instead told to remove the rubber seal and wash in soap and water. Will try that soon. I have a small clear one, a mid size black and a mid size white. I wish the glass one had thicker glass.
Please let me know about soap and water method.
What do you mean by “it loses pressure?” Do you mean that the green goes away as if it’s not vacuumed? If that’s the case, then I think you are using very fresh beans. Due to the degassing of the fresh beans, the canister thinks there’s air inside, but that doesn’t matter. It is very normal. Check out James Hoffman’s video titled “The Best Coffee Storage Canister” at minute 13:40.

It's hard to take you serious because you contact companies and ask them for free products to review. You then praise them all regardless of how good they actually are. I'm yet to see a video of yours where you are critical. Some products (like this one) are known to have serious issues but you are still all glowing for them. My conclusion is that you just like to get free stuff. Like many youtubers. Your integrity goes down the drain tho.
