Thanks for going to my country. We have black people, just like many countries in Latin-America. Panama has two different ones. The Afrocolonial that were brought for slavery (just like in the US) and the Afro-carribean that went to Panamá to help build the canal. I'm not sure why this is not thought in American schools 😮 I recommend people to get out of the bank and tourist areas to get a feeling of the other side of Panama which is very different. ❤

Great video. I'm currently in Panama now with my teenage girls and we're having a good time. I'd be having more fun without them because they're too picky with food. Lol. We're off to the Panama Canal in about an hour, so that should be great. Enjoy your solo travels! I'll be doing that once my youngest goes to college in 2 years.

Yes I do. I took multiple Ubers throughout the day (including at night) and did not have any scary or suspect moments. I went bar hopping at night with a group, and I didn’t have any weird encounters in the clubs at all. I didn’t have any weird or suspect moment at my hotel either. Make sure that you take the regular precautions that you normally would (don’t leave drink unattended, don’t get intoxicated, don’t tell strangers where you’re staying, etc). I felt safe. And the people that I met who were traveling also felt safe.
If you create an account with the hotel, they will have a loyalty program. So every time you stay with that hotel, you will get points that later on you can use for free stays
