Ahhhhhh!! The first picture was literally SO CUTE!! I love it SO MUCH!!! Everything you did with the pose and the lighting made it so precious! The second picture was really good too! I was a little concerned that the malice of the character wouldn’t show with such a light color scheme, but you translated it really well to make it look sinister! Also, have so much fun with your boyfriend! You deserve a nice break :)
They're both so adorable! I love how colorful they are and the colors you chose for shading fit them so well 💞 The way you drew the crouching pose and Zoey's hair was really nice as well :)) I like it when you pick characters! Random picking is great, but seeing what characters you picked and why you picked them is a lot of fun too.

Tip for adding light highlights on lighter tones:
Do it in white, then add a coloured outline and blur it outwards. This is how I do it.
