Have a R72 94 was wonder if I could bring it to you could you do the modifications on the rotor will bring only the rotor will not need it for a good while know that you are very busy with the farm but you can take you time do use it now but want some one to do it that know the combine and will put something in the farm diesel tanks or paper in the pocket
also i extended helical bar 4 and 5 all the way down to the seperator grate in your video you said the was not needed do you think that will hurt me or will it be OK thanks
We have an 02 R62. With adjustable separator grate. Did you remove every other wire out of the separator? Our concave has about an 1.5in space I think high wide wire. But the separator is more narrow spaced about 1in space between each bar. Feels like ours is plugging up with cob. We have open 8 bar rotor.
@@Hinesfarm-Indiana did it seem to help? We harvest corn, soybeans, wheat here for next season. Thanks for the advice. Appreciate the advice on the videos.
Hope you can help me i purchase a Gleaner R72 from North Dakota and it comes with a rotate inside the combine and the owners said the one inside is the corn and beans but I forgot what he said the other rotate was for can you help please
also you said you added a 1/2 plate behind each cylinder bar i also want to do that does it matter which cylinder bar you i have the 3/4 inch deep ones not the rasp bars
i want to upgrade my R72 and R75 helical bar like you did with the extended bars can you reuse any of the old helical bars is there a part number to order a kit or how does a person go about getting the correct parts
did you put on longer paddles on the discharge end to help push straw into the chopper also did you add plates under the fins between the bars i think i have 3 on the seperator end i plan on doing the 1/2 plate behind bars and extended helical bars not sure about the plates on discharge end
Great to see how steep helicals look on cage. Been neat to see inside how line up with triangle you put it. Glad you did the video of your updates.
You’re welcome

Very useful information, greetings from Argentina
Thanks
Thanks for the video. Awesome job!
Thanks 👍

No it shouldn’t
Did those steeper bars help u run thru the field a touch faster or they just for better threshing efficiency?
Better efficiency and it’ll use less hp to turn the rotor

@@evanwatson1556 yeah it opens up the capacity and help keep grain from going out the chopper

Now that I’m not sure of, it could be for small grains.
also you said you added a 1/2 plate behind each cylinder bar
i also want to do that

I think mine are the 3/4 but I’m not sure, I’ll have to check. Yeah the 1/2 inch bars make it 24” diameter.

Yeah there are 5 steep pitch, 3 extended and 2 regular. You take out all the old ones on that side
i put steep pitch in my R75 is there a way i can send you a video of the out come to make sure i didnt screw it up before i put the rotor back in
Yeah maybe email if the files not to big

do i need to add filler plate behind the helical bars
i have the same rotor as yours
No, just the rasp bars

No it’s the same paddles
@@Hinesfarm-Indiana how about the adding 1/2" plate under the sweeps
@@KesslerGrainfarms yeah I added full length 1/2 inch bars under the rasp bars
