Other than the deferential treatment he's getting in courts - putting up with his overgrown toddler tantrums for way long, indulging his absurd legal arguments to create endless delay - that playbook isn't working particularly well for him. He's broke, and and he will eventually be held accountable.
It’s true...Trump’s getting away with it (at least for now) because he can get his followers to pay his legal bills, and the courts are being deferential to an ex-President. Plus Trump is old enough he just needs to stall a few more years anyway. Kari Lake has none of those advantages. Maybe she’s hoping to be Trump’s VP...but that’s going nowhere too.
