When I heard about this hidden track years ago, I was never curious about it so I let it pass. They said the right music will come to you when you need it after all. These days I was feeling lost, I am a graduating student but I can't seem to see it happening soon, nothing is falling into its right places and I am losing my mind. recently I've been humming this song I don't know the title at that time, probably heard it in shorts or whatever, and eventually to know it was “Sea” by BTS, I thought maybe it's time for me to listen to this? Nah, next time when I truly need it. So it is currently 2 am, I was kept awake by worries and stress and thought of searching for this song (BTS songs calm me during moments like this), when I heard the “where there is hope, there is always hardships” I sobbed, l haven't cried this bad in a while to the point I hyperventilated. How can a simple whisper of a lyric strike so badly it hurts? Anyways, Im probably gonna study again facing that hardship as they say, there is still hope after all, right?

The fact that BTS prevented so many suicide attempts through their songs is so admirable. Today, many of us ARMY can breath in this world because BTS taught us to love ourselves. So many of us found BTS in our worst times and even though our life might not be perfect, it's still beautiful and meaningful to us.

This song was my coping mechanism when I was struggling with depression and suicide attempts. This was the song to help me cry and make me feel comforted. I am recovering already from all my trauma's and my depression and I won't forget this song because it has a place in my heart and thank u to BTS for saving me and helping me. I will never forget them.

Thisssss….!!! Honestly after they decided to take a break as a group. I felt like I parted ways with BTS as a whole as well. I discovered BTS during Persona era which was 2019. It was 3 years ago almost 4. I fell in love with their music, passion talent etc. I was 20 by then. Now I’m 24 and I think I really learned to appreciate and respect them so much over the course of their career. Even though now I don’t always focus on BTS all the time unlike back then, they will always have a place in my heart !! Their music will live forever ~~

you’re right, this is a great overview and lyrical representation to new armys of what they had to go through during their rough debut days and what they think of it now as the most successful kpop group in the world. all of that yet the song is not only talking about themselves, also anyone who is going through hardship as a sign that things will get better overtime if you work with your all, like a “trust us, we’ve been there,” type of thing. truly is able to help fans appreciate so much more of what bts has and will offer.

Had a really bad argument with my dad. He was drunk again. Had to deal with it for the past decade and this song came up again and now I’m just sobbing and thinking the many times I wanted to end it I didn’t and it’s because of the music and journey with the group as a person who really enjoyed their music. I have celebrated a year since my last failed attempt. 10/15/21 to be exact. I also became army 10/15/21. That same night I was about to, my friend asked me to come over. They asked me if I ever heard BTS. I went from being determined to spending hours till around 3am listening to their music, runs, and compilations. It was my first time I laughed so hard. I was grasping at straws. I was trying so hard. And the fact that their message is to love oneself. They really helped me out of the hole and they will never know just how much I appreciate them.

Namjoon: Is highly intelligent with an IQ of 148. Was one of the top students at school, but he fell in love with music when he was a teenager. Despite his huge intelligence, he picked music over studying, but his mother was against it. She forced him to quit music and scolded him every time when he was busy with music instead of studying. But during his training, he was critizied and insulted by people that he was talentless, since he had no experience with singing or dancing. People believed that he only debuted because he is handsome. Yoongi: The same type of story like with Namjoon; he was not supported by his parents. He fought a lot with them, which made him stay more at the music studio than at home. He was scammed quite often from the music that he sold, and his wage from it was that low that he had just enough to get some food or to take a bus home. Despite that, he endured it, because he only wanted to make music. When he got into Bighit, he had a part-time job, school and trainings all at once. Basically what they are saying is they hoped for the lavish life of an superstar and thought by reaching that state they would be happy but they didn’t their biggest dream was fulfilled but it wasn‘t the right one or the outcome wasn’t expected. The reference to the blue sea: seeing the wide wide blue shining beautiful sea looking at the very end you can‘t even see when it ends which references to a goal never would have thought to reach ( somewhat like looking to the sky) but they did and now they wonder is it all shiny and beautiful and calming as a blue sea or is it just the very end of everything: the drought: nothing matters everything is gone or dry emotions such like a reference to no more life as there is no sea: no water to survive. And the reference to the song blood sweat tears was also on the one side that they literally gave their all and wonder if it was worth it on the other hand it could mean that their all was taken from them. Today, this song found its way to me and I ended up here. After listening once more and finally reading and understanding the lyrics, I am sobbing. Wow. I am in awe. I’m touched. i remember crying to this song 5 years ago during a particularly bad week, i was practically drowning in my thoughts i couldn't think about anything else. i was reading the lyrics when i accidentally scrolled down and a comment caught my eye. someone said that namjoon mentioned that when you were in a bad place or was just feeling down, then you would find this song and it will comfort you through it all. although that comment made me cry harder, it made me feel comforted and warm, i hope both sides of the pillow of the commenter are cold

This song always finds me when I need it, I've been with bts since I was 16, I'm 21 now and I have no idea what I would be like without their influence. From the time during school when I had a class that stressed me out so badly I wanted to die to the time where I was beginning to get lost again to today where I find myself struggling to move forward, this song has been there for me. "Where there is hope there are trials" will remain a special phrase to me always.

Joined ARMY in the same month (07/23) and I discovered this song through music hive! I avoided it up until today since downloading the game 2-3 weeks ago and I think I bit the bullet when I needed it most. The past 3 years haven’t been the greatest for me mentally/socially and last month was truly the icing on the cake of my hell, but these past few months, these boys have been saving me❤️ I cannot wait to see them come back in full swing in 2025 and I’m hoping to be up there in the front row come next tour! I wish I had given K-pop a chance back in middle school instead of criticizing those who liked it because I wouldn’t be who I am today at 20, without my Bangtan Boys💜🤍 I never thought 7 boys would change my life for the better and I will always be grateful for it🥹❤️

Exactly. They have so many songs of different genres that I literally don't need to listen to other artists to find songs that fit my mood. Including solo works, they have like more than 400 songs. Most of the time I'm either listening to them, their solo stuff or some hiphop.

Back in 2017-2018 I felt that way too, sometimes I still do, it’s certainly tough but what you’ve got to remember is everyone is on a different path. I’m only 23 and I still work part-time and at university, while others are exploring the world, getting married, getting better jobs. But, we are here, on this planet, together. Time is only just that, time. Spending your time worrying and getting upset about it is fine, but give yourself time to be true to you, sit down and read a book, or listen to music by yourself. They’re showing you that they’ve felt their hardships but you’ve got to work through it to make you get unstuck. You’ve found this song when you needed it most, come back every once in a while until slowly you find yourself listening to it for the memories, recognising your hardships and how you’ve come out of that. You may outgrow them and that’s okay, don’t feel guilty. For example, my dad loves Queen, and would listen all the time, but as he grew older he wasn’t constantly listening to it, but when I play a song of theirs he picks out memories, sings their song and feels the love that he had/has for Queen. I've been an Army since 2018 and I've never heard about this song. Today i saw a video about BTS's 2025 activities, saying it would be amazing hearing this as an official title track, with the intro of this song playing in the background. I automatically felt relaxed by the intro, i looked into the comments and i saw that this is a hidden track, and that joonie said it would come to you by destiny. I decided to search for it since it appeared to me, and damn, I'm so touched by this song... It brings a weird nostalgic feeling, i could relate to some lyrics and i know a lot of people could too. I don't understand Korean but it just felt...right.. Like someone understood me and was giving me hope that all will be okay. Honestly after they decided to take a break as a group. I felt like I parted ways with BTS as a whole as well. I discovered BTS during Persona era which was 2019. It was 3 years ago almost 4. I fell in love with their music, passion talent etc. I was 20 by then. Now I’m 24 and I think I really learned to appreciate and respect them so much over the course of their career. Even though now I don’t always focus on BTS all the time unlike back then, they will always have a place in my heart !! Their music will live forever ~~

I have celebrated a year since my last failed attempt. 10/15/21 to be exact. I also became army 10/15/21. That same night I was about to, my friend asked me to come over. They asked me if I ever heard BTS. I went from being determined to spending hours till around 3am listening to their music, runs, and compilations. It was my first time I laughed so hard. I was grasping at straws. I was trying so hard. And the fact that their message is to love oneself. They really helped me out of the hole and they will never know just how much I appreciate them.

@@dulshipeiris3257 so uhh, idk if my interpretation is correct, but from what I manage to capture from the song, it’s a song of their hardships and struggles in the past, of how they are so afraid (of what, I can’t put it in words) and that when they are struggling the most and are in despair, when the time is right, there is hope for them. I think they (I think it’s namjoon) wrote this song for us to not lose hope, even in our most hopeless times.

Namjoon: Is highly intelligent with an IQ of 148. Was one of the top students at school, but he fell in love with music when he was a teenager. Despite his huge intelligence, he picked music over studying, but his mother was against it. She forced him to quit music and scolded him every time when he was busy with music instead of studying.
Seokjin: He wanted to become an idol because he wanted his family to be able to brag to their judgemental neighbours. But during his training, he was critizied and insulted by people that he was talentless, since he had no experience with singing or dancing. People believed that he only debuted because he is handsome.
Yoongi: The same type of story like with Namjoon; he was not supported by his parents. He fought a lot with them, which made him stay more at the music studio than at home. He was scammed quite often from the music that he sold, and his wage from it was that low that he had just enough to get some food or to take a bus home. Despite that, he endured it, because he only wanted to make music. When he got into Bighit, he had a part-time job, school and trainings all at once. He even bought lottery tickets regularly and was dreaming about the golden pig (korean symbol of wealth) at night, desperate to get some money. During his job as a delivery guy, he got into an accident and badly injured his shoulder, which he endured and hided from us until 2020, then he got a surgery. As a trainee he did not tell anyone at the company about it because he was afraid that they will kick him out, so he kept all of it to himself. The incredibly busy and uncomforable life style, and severe physical and mental pain from keeping his injury a secret, eventually made him depressed and gamble his education. He was dealing with social anxiety and OCD and he hinted in one of his songs (The Last) that he attempted to take his own life.
Hoseok: He has a bad relationship with his father because he was sceptical about his passion for dancing and thought of him as a dissapointment. But his mother was the one who did support him as much as she could, and he also made a song for her about it (MAMA). He almost left BTS, but decided to stay when it made Jungkook cry and when RM told him that they can't make it without him.
Jimin: He had a bad body image and a low self esteem. He was insecure and not satisfied with his singing. He used to call himself a pig since he thought that he was fat and he only slept for 3 hours a day because he was addicted to working out and losing weight.
Taehyung: He lived on a farm with his grandparents because his parents were poor. They were busy with their jobs so they could not take care of him by themselves. When he moved to Seoul, the members and other trainees thought of him as a spoiled kid at first because he was wearing a red jacket, which is a sign of wealth in Korea. But it turned out that his mother bought this jacket for him so that he would be not jugded by the wealthier peers. He was revealed as a member of BTS right at debut for his fans as a hidden member. But the tactic did not work as planned and he was often neglected and ignored by the fans, which was hurting him.
Jungkook: When he was 13, he left his hometown Busan to pursue a music career. He went to the other side of Korea and he debuted when he was 15 years old. He sacrificed his youth for his success. Jimin once found him crying alone, and he was crying because he was missing his family.
BTS: They debuted in an almost bankrupt company, and they started with nothing. They slept all together in one bedroom and ate at a small eatery near their dorm. They also used their managers car because Bighit could not afford them a car back then.
The days when people hated on them and told them to quit.
The days when they could not get a changing room, so they changed their clothes in a hallway.
The days when Yoongi locked himself up in a bathroom, because he was too anxious to perform.
The days when Namjoon was wearing sun glasses because he did not want to be judged about his looks.
The days when they thought that winning a Daesang was impossible.
The days when they were happy about getting 2k retweets.
The days when nobody got tickets for their free show.
Despite that, they stayed together and they did it. They did not give up and kept following their passions. Many people that hate on them, have no idea who they really are and what way they went through, how beautiful messages they spread with their music, and how many people they help and inspire. BTS, they turned a desert into a sea.

Basically what they are saying is they hoped for the lavish life of an superstar and thought by reaching that state they would be happy but they didn’t their biggest dream was fulfilled but it wasn‘t the right one or the outcome wasn’t expected.
The reference to the blue sea: seeing the wide wide blue shining beautiful sea looking at the very end you can‘t even see when it ends which references to a goal never would have thought to reach ( somewhat like looking to the sky) but they did and now they wonder is it all shiny and beautiful and calming as a blue sea or is it just the very end of everything: the drought: nothing matters everything is gone or dry emotions such like a reference to no more life as there is no sea: no water to survive.
And the reference to the song blood sweat tears was also on the one side that they literally gave their all and wonder if it was worth it on the other hand it could mean that their all was taken from them. As the drought comes and nothing of the blood sweat tears is no more existing.

Hey! Baby army here… I started stanning bts last year on my birthday. And I heard the hidden track sea 3 months ago when I got the Lys her vinyl. I knew the song was beautiful from listening to it, but I didn’t understand what the song was saying nor did I really bother to search for the lyrics/translation of the song. Today, this song found its way to me and I ended up here. After listening once more and finally reading and understanding the lyrics, I am sobbing. Wow. I am in awe. I’m touched. I’m happy, but I’m also feeling a little blue and melancholic.
And I think I just fell in love with Bts all over again. Always going above and beyond. I admire how they stay true to themselves. And I admire how hard they work and how dedicated they are .

i remember crying to this song 5 years ago during a particularly bad week, i was practically drowning in my thoughts i couldn't think about anything else. i was reading the lyrics when i accidentally scrolled down and a comment caught my eye. someone said that namjoon mentioned that when you were in a bad place or was just feeling down, then you would find this song and it will comfort you through it all. although that comment made me cry harder, it made me feel comforted and warm, i hope both sides of the pillow of the commenter are cold

This song always finds me when I need it, I've been with bts since I was 16, I'm 21 now and I have no idea what I would be like without their influence. Joined ARMY in the same month (07/23) and I discovered this song through music hive! I avoided it up until today since downloading the game 2-3 weeks ago and I think I bit the bullet when I needed it most. The past 3 years haven’t been the greatest for me mentally/socially and last month was truly the icing on the cake of my hell, but these past few months, these boys have been saving me❤️ I cannot wait to see them come back in full swing in 2025 and I’m hoping to be up there in the front row come next tour! I wish I had given K-pop a chance back in middle school instead of criticizing those who liked it because I wouldn’t be who I am today at 20, without my Bangtan Boys💜🤍 I never thought 7 boys would change my life for the better and I will always be grateful for it🥹❤️

Exactly. They have so many songs of different genres that I literally don't need to listen to other artists to find songs that fit my mood. Including solo works, they have like more than 400 songs. Most of the time I'm either listening to them, their solo stuff or some hiphop.

Back in 2017-2018 I felt that way too, sometimes I still do, it’s certainly tough but what you’ve got to remember is everyone is on a different path. I’m only 23 and I still work part-time and at university, while others are exploring the world, getting married, getting better jobs. But, we are here, on this planet, together. Time is only just that, time. Spending your time worrying and getting upset about it is fine, but give yourself time to be true to you, sit down and read a book, or listen to music by yourself. Not being on your phone, spend a least an hour off the phone, I only say that because that’s where we compare ourselves.
You’ve got it in you to be you, and BTS are an outlet for your emotions. They’re showing you that they’ve felt their hardships but you’ve got to work through it to make you get unstuck. You’ve found this song when you needed it most, come back every once in a while until slowly you find yourself listening to it for the memories, recognising your hardships and how you’ve come out of that.
You may outgrow them and that’s okay, don’t feel guilty. For example, my dad loves Queen, and would listen all the time, but as he grew older he wasn’t constantly listening to it, but when I play a song of theirs he picks out memories, sings their song and feels the love that he had/has for Queen. Just because you stop keeping up to date doesn’t mean you’ve outgrown them, you’re just focusing on yourself ❤️

I've been an Army since 2018 and I've never heard about this song. Today i saw a video about BTS's 2025 activities, saying it would be amazing hearing this as an official title track, with the intro of this song playing in the background. I automatically felt relaxed by the intro, i looked into the comments and i saw that this is a hidden track, and that joonie said it would come to you by destiny. I decided to search for it since it appeared to me, and damn, I'm so touched by this song... It brings a weird nostalgic feeling, i could relate to some lyrics and i know a lot of people could too. And that is what makes BTS and Army beautiful, we relate to each other and are connected by one thing: The love for these amazing boys.
Armys, don't spread hate. Spread hope, love and happiness. Do something that would make BTS proud!!

I very vividly remember the day I came across this song..
I was just so sad and felt like nothing was going right. Everything felt like it was moving way too fast for me and it left me feeling empty. I came across this song by pure coincidence and remember plugging in my headphones to give my mind something else to focus on. I remember crying the second Jimin's verse began. I don't understand Korean but it just felt...right.. Like someone understood me and was giving me hope that all will be okay. I keep coming back to this song over and over again to feel something again, to feel my heart pound against my chest.... This is my comfort song and they were right, fate really did lead me to it at the perfect time, just when I thought I was alone and worth nothing in this world. This song gives me more strength, comfort and peace of mind than anything I know. It makes me feel alive again.
Most might think I'm exaggerating this too much but I want you to know that this gave me strength. I went through a tough time in my life back then... It pulled out of the dark pit I had pushed myself in...

These 7 normal boys from Korea gave me the best gift anyone has ever given me. The strength to truely live again. For that I would give them the entire universe if it were in my power to do so, instead they get my eternal gratitude and infinite devotion.
When I say that BTS saved people with their music you gotta believe me. I might not be the best person to ask about sadness because I know that I haven't come near to sadness of the single person in the commen section. But I'll say that BTS saved my days and moments and stood my place of depression. It was all just light and sweet because of them. I was influenced by people for a whole year of my life and it was something negative. I started to feel lost and worthless I don't know when, why and how it started but thanks to BTS that I was just stressed and didn't felt the depression. I hope that every people on this earth know that no matter what you are important. You are important to yourself, your parents, your friends your favourite things left to experience in life once again. So please don't go anywhere. There was a dialogue in a drama of my country "You are important for yourself take care of yourself because you own your life and the people who loves you too." That's it ARMY share your thoughts and let's support each other and learn to become a pillar of each other.
Also don't forget even BTS got hate and felt depressed but they fought it and now they are with us. Just like that be with us help the other ARMY(s) people know their worth and stand still to fight every struggle of our life.
