- The T-34-100 in War Thunder is one of the original Premium Medium Tanks for USSR. This old relic is in a really sad place! :(
Please, Gaijin... T34 100 to 6.3 at most!
The 100mm cannon on the T34-100 is very powerful, easy to aim even at medium to long range and can overmatch even heavy tanks at this BR at extreme angles. The problem this cannon has is that it's attached to a very stiff chassis and has only 3 degrees of gun elevation. This means the gun bounces around all over the place even on flat ground. It wouldn't be a problem, but you will regularly fight full stabilised guns.
The T-34-100 is pretty nimble but it's also pretty large making it a nice easy target. It also has only 90mm of armour which is pretty much defeated by anything at this BR and above. This makes it pretty weak in terms of survivability.
The TU-2S is an absolute beast of a CAS plane. You can easily pick up 4 Kills per spawn so long as you've got a clear sky. The 500kg bombs are absolutely devastating to anything that's close. As well as that the TU2S flies really well at both high speeds and low.

that's how you're supposed to say it. Negative gun depression actually mean positive gun elevation XD
Nothing wrong with that statement, anything below level is depression, anything above is elevation. So, negative elevation is ... well.... depression......

And that's the most correct way to say this, because overall you have gun elevation, and positive is positive and negative is negative, sometimes called depression.
I definitely prefer Odd's "negative gun elevation". Both because it sounds more technical/proper, but also because the "depression" memes are so obnoxiously overused, it's nice to just avoid that possibility altogether.

@@tuxontour go to ground sim that's just disgusting how some guys cheat there. Had a game where some guy was sniping enemy's at 2km when there was a huge Forrest and woden houses in the way that u can shoot trough. Not suspicious at all.

Guess it's true, with all the (deserved??) criticism that Gaijin gets, they'll never be able to keep the player base happy.
I stand by my claim that Gaijin would do well to place a moratorium on new vehicles and fix the core issues that are brought up by content creators and community contributors all the time. Long term players will start to recommend the game to new players, players will stay, and criticism would drop. Surely that's a good thing?

Very, very odd for sure... He was waiting for him before he even popped out. Which isn't weird in itself... But it is weird the way he shot on those other tanks.
The way he even know where Odd will pop out and even looking *directly* to him behind a building is really suspicious
Definite wallhack. He was trailing that US T34 when it still was behind the building. Same at 6:27, he started firing his MGs at the building, "suspiciously" exactly where Odd was.
But even with hacks he was complete garbage. He had that T34 on a silver platter, but still needed 3 shots to take it out from the side.
It's not "suspicious" it's outright in the f..ing face
He also was waiting for one to come out and when that one got shot, he looked for another target, even though it was behind a wall.

Kuban is hilly and varied enough that you can actually go "around" hills and move around the map. Mozdok, on the other hand, is all reaaaaally shallow, rolling hills, that are basically impossible to quickly peek over without exposing yourself to half the map, and aren't tall enough to go around. I have Kuban as a Liked map, and Mozdok as a Disliked one. :P

Ah the Me 262 A1/U4 eh? It's a very fun vehicle once you get all of the gun upgrades. The stock grind is kinda rough but it's not really that hard. I second this!

Fun fact, the highways were actually made with national defense in mind so technically yes! The tank is the reason for the wider roads!

The US interstate system may be a part of the National Defense Authorization Act, but they were not designed specifically with tanks in mind. Tanks are not suited for driving long distances on any terrain, including highways, and highways aren't suited to sustain the weight of even a single platoon of tanks. To this day, the standard transportation method for tanks is to transport them by railway as far as they can go, then load them onto trucks that use surface streets to carry them to their final destinations. Highways are suited more for logistics vehicles - FMTVs, HMMWVs and the like.
@@chiefkalif9675 very true ive seen 10+ Abrams in rows each on individual train cars and all sorts of HMMWV variants on interstates and highways usually in convoys of 3 or more, the weirdest HMMWV ive seen on the road was some sort of sat com link or radar vehicle because of the dish on top the weird part was it being alone, active duty, and not being driven around by guys with BDUs but by guys in somewhat normal attire and white earpieces, during lockdown.

You go to War Thunder website and into the Help center, it requires video evidence of the supposed hacker, and we got plenty of it
@@KZ-do3fx They don't actually ban people using wallhack. I've got sniped from spawn to spawn over 3km through entire forest and Gayjins answer was: "There is no cheats in WT".
I got into argument with them and they've perma banned me on forums and in game chat.

Yea, I haven't played in a year or so, but you are right... Back in the day T-34-100 was a monster. It still died in one hit, but you literally just one shot EVERYTHING back then. You still had to play it the same way, though, just sit off to the side and wait. You weren't surviving much.

I've had the tank for a long time and I love it. I regularly get decent to good games with it but I also loved the t44 122 and this felt like a faster reloading t44 122 with better pen

Whenever you upload, it's always around 9pm for me, but it makes great content to watch while I'm winding down for bed. 30ish minutes is perfect because once the video is over, I'll close my phone and go to bed. Gotta work in the morning. Another great video Odd!
Is no-one gonna talk about the hacker?
I stopped playing for a few days after the update, found hackers in almost every match. People freezing planes mid-air, ATGMs doing no damage to light vehicles, vehicles without sound, tigors with 2 second reloads, and some other players with instantaneous crew replacement or repairs. I would recommend wait for a while, whilst gaijin fixes all that.
That is really suspicious. I definitely will apply for a complain and report that guy on the server replay thing. Really suspicious af
@@juanstevanordonezvillota653 I keep saying to Gaijin that their "anti-cheat" software doesnt work! Just this week i had someone teleport to me (after previously killing them) kill me, then teleported back to their spawn, games broken, and until Gaijin gets their shit together its just gonna get worse! Just look at every match! capture the flag for days!

The saddest thing about the t-34-100 is that none of the new, better tanks at 6.7 are Russian so its still the best choice imo. I still play it and it works well if you use it like a light tank, and I'll take a 100mm over a 122 any day.
True. Russia 6.7 is basically nonexistent. Though I would rather just play the t44 at 6.3 plus a great lineup.
fyi i love your stuff more than Phly. Not bashing him, but I really love your stuff. I like your personality, and presentation style. When you get excited by something, it really feels genuine and not amp'd up for clicks and it's fun to watch you be so excited.

I've also met that LORIK guy in the match. We were on Fulda and he was in the enemy team playing the Tiger E, and all of the sudden he starts shooting throught the entire fucking forest. If you can imagine, we were on B, and he was shooting all the way from their top west spawn right throught all the buildings on B and the entire forest. He is definetely kinda sus ngl

That is a proper course of action in war. And with t34 being the best medium tank of the war (t34-85, mind you), why change what wasn't broken? After switching to t54/t55 they sold old tanks to third world countries.
Yeah! Even used a t34-85 and an su-100 in Yemen in 2016!!!

The Tu-2 bombers are easily my favorite bombers to be produced, fast, good for turn fighting, superb defensive capabilities, outstanding bomb load it has everything that you could want on a solid level
4:30 We have wide lanes because we have the space and built the freeways around the cities. Not having 15mil beautiful historic building makes it easier to plan a highway system. (You aren't wrong about the bad drivers though.)

God this tank used to be my absolute work horse back in the day and and is what got me through most of the earlier ranks in the russian tree. It was just so good
Our lanes are so wide because we're SO FREE that a single lane simply cannot contain me, my family, and my lifted Ford F-250 crew cab, with heated leather seats, off road kit, and personal liquor bar in the bed, right next to the jacuzzi and gun safe.
It really should be 6.3 minimum, 6.0 tops.

@@jPlanerv2 yeah, usually there is an x-ray mod to go along with it. Seen them all when my squad would hunt down hack mods, and pull them apart and send the data to Gajin. We would find them and test them on a PTS, and send video, screen caps, and the hack to them, and what sights were distributing it, and where iwlt was being advertised.. there isnusualy a new one ever 3 months.

Hey Odd if you don’t already know you can be in a 90 degree dive with the tu2 and have perfect bomb sight accuracy, including with the ones in the bomb bay. It’s a arado, pe2 and tu2 skill I Guess. All other bombers like ju288/b25/do217 have delay when dive bombing with sight.

As a resident American and as a commentary on our country's horrible drivers, you should bring out the largest roadblock an enemy can face on any road or highway: the mighty doom turtle T95.

As for that Tiger 2 it definitely triggers a solid "hmmm.."
I can understand paying attention to engine noises of nearby vehicles, as I sometimes remember to do that myself.
But with cannons, machine guns, arty going off as well as planes overhead yet still pinpoint accurate tracking tanks through buildings at those distances.. Mighty suspicious..
