when Senri was younger she was amazing in the sense of being a prodigy child who clearly studied a lot. But now she feels actually like an accomplished artist with her own mature personal style. It's a marvelous evolution to witness.

It's a fantastic recording of some fantastic playing. Those fast rolls....so clean. An absolute pleasure to the ears. And of course the smiles, from both players, just makes it better.

Senri is world class and will be sought after by many established artists, but only some of then can play at her level of feel and awareness. Kiyomi also holds things together to a high level of feel and awareness, but Senri plays infinite funky details and surfs through the energy waves of the music magically.
