Get your Husky 1800mm here: www.hobbyzone....
The Husky is a PA-18 inspired, high-winged light utility aircraft which made its first flight in 1986.
Arrows RC has recreated this backcountry workhorse - from rivet lines and body panels to the predictable STOL flight characteristics - without overlooking any detail when creating the Husky 1800mm.
Packed full of attractive features, the Arrows Husky 1800mm is prebuilt with rugged CNC landing gear, oversized balloon tires, and functional flaps for true STOL backcountry operations. A 3541-KV750 motor paired with a 45A ESC gives the aircraft near vertical performance, while the screw-together assembly means the Husky is ready for flight in no time.
Perfect for beginners and experts alike, the Husky is the ultimate bush plane every pilot needs!

I used a 32mm for the spinner and mine snugged right up. I didn’t use the single longer one for anything. In my 25 yrs of RC flying, when you use to long a screw, that’s when the spinner doesn’t snug up to the backplate. I did notice your spinner screw sticks out further tha mine. Awesome plane. It’s my first electric after saying I’d never buy one. Really impressed.

Those colors are popping hot! This I may not have to take apart at all to take out to play. I keep wanting to bring my CZ Cub out to fly but never do because the CZ Cessna is so easy to put together.
I've known people who found out reversing the ailerons could be a big deal, but all good if you remember to do it. Thanks for sharing this Beauty from Arrows RC Ryan. 16:25

I have the Maule and really enjoy flying it. I ended up replacing those screws( same as that plane) because the depth is too shallow and because I have to take the wings off my Maule for storage, I replaced the screws with Phillips. I would highly recommend to anyone that had to remove the wings, change those screws. I also had one binding up and had to run a thread chaser through the mounting block. These are awesome planes . Like you said, the wiring can be fiddly. If I ever destroy my Maule, mabe I will buy one.

I like to use a little less than half-flaps or about 15 degrees for the takeoff position. This provides lift without a lot of drag. So, instead of +35% on Pos 1, I use -20% to -30%. Nice-looking plane..

    Good video.
    Hits:
    Looks great. Nice livery.
Good price point for the size.
    Strong, thick foam.
    Tail setup is really nice.
Minimal adjustments needed on control rods.
    Misses:
Wing Fit: tubes embedded in the wing to accept the wing spar stick out from the root of the wings. Causing the wings not to seat properly, making it impossible to get the screws in. Had to the sand the tubes flush with the wing root.
Wing wiring makes having to remove wings for transport extremely difficult. Putting them back on is just as difficult.
Unexplained slots and holes on top and bottom of wings.
No Hinges! Just foam. This will always start to separate. Suggest putting hinge tape on all hinge areas.
Tail heavy. You can get it to balance with 4S 2200 battery all the way forward, but just barely. I would recommend a larger battery.
The rudder and elevator servos should have been put inside the fuselage closer to the CG to save on tail weight.
Misc: did need to reverse Ailerons.
Overall, It's a lot of plane for the money. I Like it.

Did u have any problems getting the front wing screws to install? I cannot get either front screw to go in. If I push hard on the wing, I can get a toothpick to go thru. • @scottfirman

If you do, replace those screws with Phillips head. The depth for the tool is way too shallow and easily stripped. My Maule had the same screws and it was awful having to remove the wings with the original screws.

@@PilotRyanMedia first I want to thank you for having a detailed assembly of the Husky. I just got mine today and I'm so stoked! I had a few issues, mostly confusion. The prop was the last part I installed, however if you don't closely follow the instructions, you'll end up thinking the HKM3.0X32 is for the spinner cone. But, what's required is the shorter HKM3.0X16 which will not leave any tolerance in the spinner cone. And yes I did the same thing, hence why I brought it to your attention. Also is it me or is there no where in the Operating Manual that it explains how to connect the landing lights?? And I'm starting to think it did not come with the split connector with clips...which also led to more confusion... I'm in love with the plane, but the Manual needs to be wayyy more detailed. Thank you again!
