Dennis bergkamp is completely underrated in world football. He was a genius in my eyes
He is not underrated. Stop using this cliche
@@G-Dimension He absolutely WAS underrated. Stop telling people that they can’t say something that is categorically the truth. He was always overshadowed by Henry when they played at Arsenal because he was predominantly the creator and Henry always took the plaudits for scoring the goals. Netherlands never won a World Cup when he was part of the squad, so at international level he never got the credit he deserved. And apart from Arsenal fans, people rarely put him in their 10 top premier league players. So to tell someone not to say that he was underrated is outrageous. It’s clear as day that he was underrated whether you think it’s “cliché” to say or not smh
@@talewoodstudio everyone remembers the goal against Argentina in 98
@@flamboyentpromotions3471 and the goal
Against Newcastle United in 2002
@@jeffreynanatakyicollins101 im talking about at international level, at club level he scored many great goals
Mad Respect for both, Dennis and Thierry
I never react to something but i have to say this as a Dutch Morrocon. Dennis Bergkamp til this day he dont get the respect he deserves only from Henry. Game recognise game ... One of the best players ever this guy was unbelievable and also made other players play bether. Sorry for my languas but i have dyslexie. Respect for Henry and Bergkamp ❤
I love how TITI constantly talks about Dennis because he knows the shine he had at Arsenal was becau of him & People barely talk about him
He rated bergkamp as the goat in his opinion.
@@beepeeayyen meer dan terecht
Bergkamp is my all time favorite player.
Dennis Bergkamp is my favorite player of all time
For me bergkamp was the best ever. My son likes Messi, Ronaldo, but than I show bergkamp. Pure beauty, every goal every pass, and down to earth.
Best passer I have ever seen
Dennis Bergkamp is the reason I became an Arsenal fan.
🤥
You became arsenal fan because of robin van persie
You became a fan halfway through the invincible season. Man U jersey went in the bin 😂
@@RevealedFilms I'm talking 1996. There was Arsenal before the invincibles 😆
Him and Ian Wright are my favorite players ever.
i became an arsenal fan because of dennis bergkamp, something about his football transcends all kinds of statistics available today, he exemplified the artistry in football, and Wenger was a proponent of this idea.
Berkamp was a extraterrial…was from another planet😎
I was 3 rows from the pitch during those years and Thierry is 100% right to be so complimentary. What you didn't see on cameras was just how immense Bergy was. He wouldn't sometimes have a sniff for 15 mins so his positioning would change. To recieve ball deeper. Once he then received for the ball for the first time in a game he would almost always turn the whole game around with a perfect pass. .
This happened every week for years. Without this there is no trophies in the cabinet despite having the best strikers...
THE ONLY PLAYER IN MY EYES WHO COULD EVRR WALK ALONGSIDE DIEGO.
He was not underrated back then. He was allowed to monopolize the goal of the month competition for a whole season. The rule was changed so he got a medal for the Cup Final despite not being able to play. He changed the face of football for the English and got credit for that.
It is that about 5 to 10 years after he quit, people seemed to have forgotten how he set the premier league a light, what a sensation he was, how he showed what could be done on a football pitch with imagination, awareness and skill, how he was by far the best player of the PL until he got old and Henry dominated the goal stats. Yes, I think he's grown underrated over the years because Henry played not only after him but also with him and was a goal scorer rather than a playmaker.
But Thierry Henry, the gentlemen, the football nobility, the classy guy he is says 'not on my watch', credit where credit is due. I'm going to make sure he's going to be a bit less underrated.
So well said
As a Man Utd fan, growing up watching the Prem before Wenger’s arrival - I completely agree. Bergkamp was a phenomenon. There was nothing like him in the League at the time - and dare I say, ever since. A truly once in a generation talent.
Well said! He was underrated! For what he did and never really get a mention when the best of his time was mentioned…says a lot! Ask any Man U, Chelsea or even Madrid fan, if you ask them about the best in the period Arsenal was hot, they’ll definitely pick Henry, and probably Vierra, and that’s probably it!
First time i saw Ajax was when Marco v B played at that time, he replaced JC. I created love for the game but then Marco left to Milan and made me sad..but then Dennis Bergkamp came. Man, this guy showed me how elegant this sport can be. Unique velvet touch, most elegant player if you ask me
@@ricol365 He also always used his very precise first touch for planning ahead when the pass was still high in the air. He knew exactly where to lay the ball with his velvetty touch to turn space into time and then use the one step ahead to create in to space again.
This product of imagination and touch was truly unique. His number of goals and moves never seen be before or after exceeds any player's ever on film. Ronaldinho and Zlatan have a few of those, but if you start counting at Ajax they don't come close.
Dennis, a joy to watch. I was a young girl when he played for Ajax
Thierry Henry is a legend but Dennis Bergkamp is the legend of legends
Theres only one Dennis Bergkamp
Absolutely! I agree.
To this day, I say that Bergkamp is the most gifted player the Premier league has seen
Him an Zola back then
He did things that kdb would dream of! A skilset which was only rivalled by iniesta, Zidane, Ronaldinho etc
@Bones Jones i can’t differentiate both world class talents, Bergkamp had more opportunities at international level because Baggio was number 10 for Italy
@onetoten1 Ruud Gullit was also amazing - he came at the end of his career, but his technical ability was sublime.
@@flamboyentpromotions3471 ' i can’t differentiate both world class talents, Bergkamp had more opportunities at international level because Baggio was number 10 for Italy' - What has Roberto at 10 for Italy got to do with Dennis at 10 at the Netherlands?
Though the Hand of Frog incident still stings, Henry’s respect for Bergkamp was, is completely earned and justified.
When Henry bigs you up, you know you're all that and more.
Walking along, singing a song, walking in a Bergkamp wonderland 🎼
Best first touch, ever
The non-flying Dutchman.
Always was a joyous player to watch.
DB10 was the revelation
What a player
I just seen his highlights and im so shook this man was never even mentioned in top 20 best players definitely a true world class player.
As an Arsenal fan when one of the Holy Trinity/ 3 Messiahs speaks i.e Henry, Wright and Bergkamp every Arsenal fan should listen.
Bergkamp and Henry had the type of professional chemistry on the pitch that is rarely seen; it was evident during the Invincibles and Unbeaten run and still is
Ian Wright Paul Merson and Titi all said DB10 when asked the best player they have ever played with.
Here’s to arriving at 7:29. Much football admiring love from who as a Germany supporter “suffered” from Bergkamp’s skills at international level.
Legend recognising Legend ❤
A legend talking about a legend!
Although Henry is an absolute Arsenal legend and football genius Look at the homage and respect he shows Dennis Bergkamp ❤❤❤❤
I was first person to shake bergkamp hand wen he arrived at arsenal after meeting him in arsenal car park and wished him all the best him coming to arsenal and then he said time to meet the new boss
Dennis was like a scientist
Bergkamp pure class 💪🏻
Dennis the menace lol
My favourite ever Arsenal player and my favourite player of all time! Love me some Dennis 'Elbow' Bergkamp!
Bergkamp possessed true magic on the pitch. Le tiss was very similar but without the dedication.
When asked who is the best player he ever played with, Thierry Henry said "Dennis Bergkamp" without a moment's hesitation. And he played with Zinedine Zidane and Lionel Messi.
Zizou and Henry never really got along.
He hated Zidane and he only played with the youngest version of Messi tbh.
@@dr_ubo yea, if u ask him who the GOAT is he says messi
He said excluding Messi Xavi Iniesta I've seen the clip
@@dr_ubo so did zidane.. but you forgot henry was himself the goat at some time
Dennis was so good you could find him in your own mail box.
You mean he could find you😅
Dennis Bergkamp is one of the football god that heaven send to earth
The King addressing the world everybody is listening 🔴⚪👏🏾
One Legend talking about another Legend, that's what you call friendship and Respect.
It was so amazing to have Henry and Bergkamp up front for Arsenal. Can you imagine them now? They would terrify any defence in the world today.
Look up Ian Wright, Dennis Bergkamp, Arsene Wegner tea story. That will tell you all you need to know about his character
There isn't a living breathing football player today that will ever come close to the magic of Bergkamp, no one
Thank God he played for arsenal
The Ice man is a footballing legend.
Bergkamp aka The Iceman.
What a player. My all time favourite Arsenal legend. He could thread the eye of a needle with his passes. Man was not just a genius. He free flowed around the pitch like water.
Ima Arsenal fan and Dennis Bergkamp is my all time favourite player for us... His talent was completely unmatched at the time and even now it's hard for anyone to emulate him... He was the man, and just think about this, Thierry Henry is sayin how much he respects him... Thierry Henry is a legend and a beast, and he's bigging him up 😎😁😎
Henry, Bergkamp and Overmars.....mad trio! Pure talent.
Kate Abdo: “Who is your best ever teammate?”
Thierry Henry: “Dennis Bergkamp.”
“Better than Messi?”
“I answered the question.”
"ok don't be rude about it"
Way better than kdb for his amazing skilset

*_Dennis Bergamp_* *My Favorite player forever he and Thierry Henry make me 90‘s fan of Arsenal i grew up with them both Legends* *_And yet I’m forever Arsenal Fan_* *this club is more than beautiful football* *_COYG_* ❤️🤍❤️
My favorite footballer ever
am a Chelsea fan but I used to watch Arsenal games coz of Dennis
I was at his testimonial.. man this guy was the best..
also one of the few times 3 generations of leggend played in one team , Johan Cruijff van Basten and Bergkamp in one team .
Dennis could find Where's wally. What a player his vision 🤯
I’m a Spurs supporter but I love this
The first time I saw Bergkamp was in the 1998 World Cup and I was amazed by his goal against Argentina. The following season I saw him playing for Arsenal, and has been a Gooner since then.
Dennis Bergkamp was just so amazing
The best pair I ever seen... Henry and Bergkamp.
Bergkamp was a beast. One of few players that can be a 9, 10, 11 or 7. Just like Neymar, Cuauhtemoc Blanco, Rivaldo, Drogba ect
Thierry Henry in a Public Enemy shirt 🤜🏽🤛🏽
One of best duo. Dennis Bergkamp is definitely under rated. Love is skill 💯👍🏾
Only IPF's and people with no ball knowledge would say that. You are clearly too young be be aware of how highly regarded he was. He was a globally recognised superstar FFS.
@@mediacenterman8583 Correct, As Bergkamp would be had a good chewing out of van Basten and Johan Cruijff (manager at the time ) if a pass was to long to short or he wasnt in the right place at the right time to give or recief the pass. that is something that would motivate him to be the best .
@@mediacenterman8583just shut up just shut up every single time with the same commentary. Bergkamp was underrated with this talent and never had the ballon d'or with this talent and the media never speaks about him. And you tell me is not underrated. Bergkamp technically is unmatched the best of the best. Only woth youtube people become to reliaze how great he was i used to argue with my friends about him that they never saw him play. While they know zidan ronaldinho ronaldo they did not know him and since they don't they will put automaticaly other players over him. So just shut up
The man was talented.
When I think of a football player, I think of Bergkamp.
The main reason I’m a gooner when D.Berghkamp joins Arsenal
He’s the best player all time
Henry y bergkam el duo perfecto 💪💪
Odegaard is the new bergkamp in the making
Hopefully
Even kdb is a tier below Bergkamp with his amazing skilset
Not close sadly. Did you see the lobs bergkamp did while the goalkeeper is standing on his line. When odiger do just one then we can talk about it
@@Myron.Show1 Watch how they play an stop thinking emotionally, they do play similarly, no one said he was nearly as good, and you literally just described Odegaard 🤦🏾♂️
Now I want Ø8 to follow in his footsteps. Silky moves, heart of a giant, conductor of rhythm in the game.
COYG!!
I was thinking Ødegaard reminds me of Bergkamp in some ways
Respect ❤ 🙏 to both men.
Henry tells the best stories 😂
Its not just Titi who openly praises Dennis, Pires does the same
best premier league AND best Arsenal player EVER IMO! THE ICE MAN! BERGKAMP!
Invincibles forever! Arsenal forever! COYG!
love both legends
This guy is the same level as zidane, even more in terms of technique
Absolutely loveee this tribute to our dutch legend 🔴⚪️
Dennis bergkamp top 3 ballon do'r twice in a row
The king
Dennis Bergkamp est un génie et Henry aussi, probablement dans le top 5 des meilleurs duo d'attaquants de toute l'Histoire du football.
That’s what Ian Wright had said about him. Dennis came right in the middle of the “drinking culture” and Ian said that he’s just drink water. He was real disciplined
IN NL Cruijff always comes first, and I concur, but then, even thinking of Van Hanegem, Keizer, Rensenbrink, Krol, Neeskens (70s), Rijkaard, Vanenburg, Van Basten, Gullit, Koeman (80s), Frank/Ronald de Boer, Kluivert, Seedorf, Davids (90s), Van Nistelrooy, Robben, Sneijder, Van Persie, Van de Vaart (00), De Jong, Virgil, (10), for me, the first after Cruijff is Dennis Bergkamp. I'll forget the interview with Van Basten when he announced his move to AC Milan, a Dutch journalist asked him, and does Ajax has a successor... and Marco said, oh yess... Dennis Bergkamp... His first 10 matches were a struggle but then.... no words... And sometimes I need to see him in one of the amazign youtubes... not only his goals, also his passing ... no words....
I remember when we signed Bergkamp and overmars. Great memories of these 2 for the Arsenal.
Bergkamp is my all-time favourite player.
The 2 best players to ever play for Arsenal period ❤
Bergkamp is the most skillful player in epl era, hands down. And I am saying that as a man utd supporter.
识英雄,重英雄
Bergkamp, zidane we don't have these types of players nowadays they don't score much the whole time depends upon them
Today we have another future Denis in the name of Odeegard
Wow beautiful 💪🏽
Dennis Bergkamp
Youre awsome too ❤
Nobody could manipulate the ball as well as Bergkamp IMO.
The simple nature (in theory) of getting the ball to do exactly what you want. Zizou and Ronaldinho had immense ball control. But when it comes to imagination; creativity; and ,most importantly, application.. Dennis is far more superior
Messi is the closest we’d get so far..
Messi is what, hold breaks have you seen Zidane is Dennis Bergkam, agree with everything that was said about Dennis, but do not put out God out of your thoughts and say Messi was the closest thing ball manipulation he only has one move, Zidane despite Theiry Henry opinion of him was if anything smooth and like water, and his arsenal le creative moves was not seen before him you ever seen anybody before Zidane do a La roulette or have you seen anyone do a back elastico like Ronaldinho don't do that, that's two creative Football geniuses you mentioned, Messi dosen't come close.
@@nicholasmack7829 clearly didn’t understand my point. I’m talking about apples and you’re talking about pears.
Ronaldinho has the deepest bag, nobody more skilful
Zidane made football beautiful. Tbh don’t need to add more. Smooth and silky just like you said. Kinda like KD for basketball but more legendary
Bergkamp made me realise the impact of maths and physics in the game and how to use intuition to apply it.
He played snooker while the others played billiards. Hope you followed this time
I got high standard from his dad, from Dennis Bergkamp, from Arsène Wenger... No wonder he ended up being so good.
Dennis would put it in your box 😂
We'll win it this year at Arsenal.. We'll win it inshaaaa Allaaaaah..
