You can be forgiven if you had thought Arch was Peyton's boy, cause from what we know from this video, Arch does take a lot from his uncle. Guys like Ray Lewis and Tom Brady have mentioned just how serious Peyton took the sport, and these were guys who played competitively with and against the man himself. Peyton was always working on his throws, studying film, anything to prepare for the next game, which was exactly what made him great. That being said, I do advise caution and restraint for any fan that thinks Arch would "set the world on fire" like his uncles did. I should mention that both Peyton and Eli did not exactly have the best rookie seasons when they were first drafted. Peyton went 3-13 during his rookie year with the Colts, while Eli went 6-10 with the Giants. I should also note that unlike Peyton, Eli had a veteran to learn from in Kurt Warner. Whichever team drafts Arch will be very lucky, but they will also need to remember it's a team game, so Arch will need the right personnel around him to flourish, be it coaches, weapons to throw to, and a supporting cast. For a more recent example, just look at how the Bengals turned things around with Burrow after they drafted Ja'Marr Chase and assembled an underrated defense around Logan Wilson and Jessie Bates.

Quarterbacks who put up stats from lesser competitive divisions aren't lesser quarterbacks. They just need more development when they get into more competitive environments. Its always better to compete against the very best teams available in high school, even if you must do it outside of your district so you can become the best! The beatdown in his h.s. playoff game is a reflection of the coaching. I've seen a few highly touted, talented kids over the years play for schools similar to Newman, go onto a big D1 college and struggle badly because the coaching was abysmal. Whether Texas coaching is good or not I have a feeling the Manning family will make certain AM will continue to progress accordingly!
I am a Longhorns Fan, so I'm wishing the Kid lots of luck and love. But I remember when Mack Brown shoe-horned Chris Simms into the starting QB position, over Major Applewhite, though in my opinion Applewhite was the better QB. I hope they don't do the same with Manning and Ewers.
I never really bought into "he's only good because he plays in a lower division" for most athletes. Manning is no exception. There are some cases but they are few and far between. From my experience its usually the opposite. When a Qb is from a school that it is OP (over powered), they develop bad habits because their supporting cast is so talented. Texas spring game maybe be the most watched spring game to date.
End of the day its a team game. Some of these elite schools be having 6’5 220 mfs on the D lone while you have a handful of demented toddlers blocking for you yeah its going to look real bad.
Young players a place to develop is nice where you can make mistakes and not worry about being benched. That's major for a athlete, but you also have to make sure you are playing decent comp. In BB a player hopefully play on a good summer circuit if there high school comp is not top tier. If not you want to try to get yourself to a 5A ort 6A program
It's all about how good and humble your in the highs and lows. You're usually only as good as your competition. How well do you handle wins and losses also
Archie Manning, who played for the Saints was a HOF type player who spent his career working for a subpar team. Then Eli and Peyton came along. Peyton was almost as good as a QB could have been. Now Arch Manning is supposed to be the best of the Mannings. I wish him good luck. Hw probably still has a lot to learn. We will soon see if he is able to do that. Of course, he may not start until next year. Best Wishes Arch.
The shade on Cooper is crazy. “He went to the same school BOTH of his uncles did”. His fucking dad did too. His dad was a baller too before he got injured. And now he’s going full Caesar. A real one
These qbs come around every few years and generally make it to the league regardless of how they actually do in college. Jimmy Clausen, Matt Barkley, Josh Rosen list goes on...we wont actually know how good he is until hes playing(deserving or not) on sundays.
The Manning Dynasty!!! Arch Manning happens to be Cooper Manning’s son and also being Eli and Peyton’s nephew. Football is in their blood because of his grandpa, Archie Manning, who happens to be a quarterback in his own right. Archie taught his sons’ how to play the quarterback position. However, The Manning brothers surpassed their father as being the greatest quarterbacks in football history. Archie played for the New Orleans Saints in the 70s, so he never played in the Super Bowl. Peyton and Eli have both played in the Super Bowl and beat their opponents. I feel Arch is a mobile quarterback than his uncles’ and have better arm strength. Dang! His passing yards is unbelievable and his rushing yards is also incredible. I would thought he would go to Ole Miss, Alabama, Texas, SMU, LSU, Clemson, Virginia and Georgia. By looking at his high school football stats, he was the first freshmen to play on the varsity team at his school. He was unbelievable as a player who rarely ever threw interceptions. He chose the Texas Longhorns because he feels that he can win and bring them a national championship there.
Lets not forget, recruiting isn't just about talent, its about $$$$. The manning name will bring an unbelievable amount of revenue to whatever school he goes to. Which is exactly why if his name was Arch Smith - he wouldn't be anywhere near consensus #1 QB.
"Weak competition" may be Manning Chess for making sure he gets TONS of reps/experience/confidence so that he is as prepared to succeed as possible in college. He also knows how to lose, which is important.
The sad part is that there will be many adults that will be overly happy if he fails. Hes not the one going out there saying hes the best or hes number 1. Hes just playing football, hes not being Tate Martell
Not tested. He went to a private school that has a playoff system against only other private schools. i.e. These are mostly all-white schools He hasn't had a 300 pound tackle that runs a 4.3 40 chase him down. In spite of that, he lost in the early rounds of automatic bid playoffs. Move forward to Fall 2023. He's 3rd string... The starter is a sophomor and just beat the #5 ranked team (Alabama) in the country. No chance Manning will replace that guy... And there's another freshman that they played ahead of Manning last week. Look for Manning to hit the transfer portal in December.
The game where he was “terrible” in a play-off game showed a pass to a receiver that hit the receiver in the chest, only to be deflected for an interception. How did the level of competition hurt his uncles?
I watched that game and he didn't look good. Now I believe he's a good kid and a hard worker and definitely has the tangibles, but I think the other team was just loaded with way more talent. He can't will his team to a win. It's still a team game. We'll see how he does in college but his work ethic and attitude continue, I think he'll be fine.
This kid seems such a badass, that it’s obvious athletics runs well in his family. He like all other athletes love the game too damn much to want to quit and give up. He has passion, and that right there is how you become successful. Hell of a kid.
Note how he avoids pressure but never takes his eyes off the WR's. The people that understand how to evaluate a pure QB know why this guy has a high ceiling. He's a PASSER first and a RUNNER only in dire circumstances, which means, LONGER career and a HIGH level.
I can hear them now, Peyton and Eli covering Arch's games: Eli: "Well, Arch has the ball now, let's see some numbers." Peyton: "Yeah, he's a tape fanatic and went to Texas INSTEAD of Ole Miss like his two uncles and father" Eli: "Sound familiar?" Peyton: "Anyway, he has XXX throwing yards this season, and ----- rushing. Eli: How's his arm?" Peyton: "Better than mine!" A fight then ensues as the two mannings fight over who had the worst arm accuracy, while Arch quietly throws a shutout win against the Patriots. The Mannings dont like them.
Yeah, and if those corners are good it really doesn't matter that much. That one kid with the Billy Ray Cyrus 'do whose already at UT is actually a very good QB, tho. This could get interesting.

If you give him time and that Texas Line looks great, he will be one of, if not the best out there. Great young man and humble too. Great job by his parents and family.
I can’t wait to see this kid go against Mahomes in the Super Bowl
Was hoping Tom Brady would last long enough to be a rival of his as well! Lol
Dont put the cart before the horse.
don't get ahead of yourself...
no i think payton manning will back and they'll face in 2k29
@@auburnmann3630 tom already beat him where it mattered most. Twice.
Amazing what a childhood of love and enrichment can accomplish.
When I played in Jr high, we ran 99% of the time. 3 passes all year and one was a botched punt. Thanks coach!
You know Grandpa Archie had a sit-down with him at one point. Explained what the Manning name means to football and how his behavior will reflect upon it. If this kid makes it, you know he will never be arrested for DUI or assault or ANYTHING. Model American family right there. Much respect to them and GOOD LUCK ARCH!!!!

Arch Manning underrated 🔥💪🔥
I agree scouts hating on a HS kid who's a beast. Does having the name Manning play a factor? of course but the kid is still damn good. Can't wait to see what he does over the next few years at Texas.
this season he got his ass beat by actually good teams... i mean look at the roster of some of the teams they played in the regular season. they couldn't stand a chance against arch
@@blackcraft3465 this season he got his ass beat by actually good teams... i mean look at the roster of some of the teams they played in the regular season. they couldn't stand a chance against arch
@David Webb 🤣🤣🤣
He was the #1 recruit with a perfect score... how is he underrated? I'd be more worried that this kid never willed his team to even a state semi-final in a lower tier hs league. 5 star recruits are supposed to be dunking on their competition and winning state championships just based on their athleticism.
as a giants fan living in Colorado, I would love to see another manning under center in an NFL game. with his work ethic and a little luck hopefully that will happen, regardless of the team he plays on.
Naw he need to play on a team with a Good O-line
@@tedlessor3887 I'm just saying idc if he plays for one of his uncle's teams, I'd like to see him taking snaps
@@andrewthorsten3809 It would be surreal to see Arch Manning under center @QB with Marvin Harrison Jr. @WR for the Colts a couple of years from now. You never know...
His team Neumann played against my son’s team DeLaSalle last fall. Arch is a much better runner than I thought. He is pretty quick.
Keeping the boys out of tackle football until their bodies were ready was a great move by the fathers. Bones haven't fused yet; the skull is still growing and the plates haven't fused yet. That is an incredibly vulnerable time.
Quarterbacks who put up stats from lesser competitive divisions aren't lesser quarterbacks. They just need more development when they get into more competitive environments. Mahomes lit up the big 12 when Baylor and Oklahoma were putting up 60 a game. Got drafted, Sat a year behind Smith, and has a head coach who puts in the work developing him.
No matter what his name to him is Arch.
To the world it’s a Manning and that comes with heavy baggage. Will love to his what he looks like in 5 years.
I think one thing that he has that his grandpa and uncles did not is mobility. Im not on the hype train yet, but he is extremely mobile and doesnt appear to be hesitant to run in the right situations, which is a huge plus.
@@davidwebb2411 it's you are or the contracted you're. As in you're welcome!
@@OrganicHustlin i love when someone resorts to grammar corrections when they put their foot in their own mouth. Archie Manning was a running machine and had to bc his team was garbage.
He's going to have more success the Peyton and Eli
What are you talking about Archie Manning was a very mobile QB he had to be his O lines were terrible.
Archie Manning could run and scramble, Had to correct this
Arch reminds me so much of his family and Joe burrow combined , he’s going to be amazing
I really think that he could make the NFL but only time will tell. I hope he does well in Collage
Yea he make it because they get shit handed to them... and have the money to send his ass to camps all year long
Its always better to compete against the very best teams available in high school, even if you must do it outside of your district so you can become the best!
I hope they don't do the same with Manning and Ewers.
if he manages to stay healthy he has a future ahead of him
I never really bought into "he's only good because he plays in a lower division" for most athletes.
He definitely left his notebook there on purpose
It's all about how good and humble your in the highs and lows. You're usually only as good as your competition.
How well do you handle wins and losses also
He’s gonna be great!
I have a feeling that Arch left those notes intentionally.. it was a 4D chess move.
Archie played on terrible teams early and took a beating.
At 5:15 you see the name Kadyn proctor and I went to school with him this year he graduated Sunday
Video suggestion: Rise and Fall of Brock Osweiler
"Weak competition" may be Manning Chess for making sure he gets TONS of reps/experience/confidence so that he is as prepared to succeed as possible in college. He also knows how to lose, which is important.
It will be interesting to see if Maalik Murphy or Manning get to start after Ewers. It's still early but Murphy looks really good.
The sad part is that there will be many adults that will be overly happy if he fails. Hes not the one going out there saying hes the best or hes number 1. Hes just playing football, hes not being Tate Martell
any enemy he has will be an arch enemy.
great vid
Texas made such a good investment. The name itself will bring a ton of sales despite his performance at the college level
Every video you guys make is top top tier pls keep up the good work it’s truly a pleasure to watch
0:09 I thought this was about daddy manning
WOW!!! This young man is truly BLESSED with talent! 🏈 👋🏼
Flag football for young kids should be the only way until they are halfway through high school. It will teach them all fundamentals of the game.
Can’t wait for this kid vs TB12
😂😂😂
With his desire to be better already instilled I believe he will always work on living up to his expectations. BLESSINGS 🙏 to him and his family 😇.
He seems like a good kid , but I would expect nothing less from a Manning , They are a class family
Archie chases strange tail constantly. Always has
6:42 does that justify why the classes are unaffordable ..
Note how he avoids pressure but never takes his eyes off the WR's. The people that understand how to evaluate a pure QB know why this guy has a high ceiling. He's a PASSER first and a RUNNER only in dire circumstances, which means, LONGER career and a HIGH level.
Ok, after watching this all I can say is WOW‼️‼️

I can hear them now, Peyton and Eli covering Arch's games:
Eli: "Well, Arch has the ball now, let's see some numbers."
Peyton: "Yeah, he's a tape fanatic and went to Texas INSTEAD of Ole Miss like his two uncles and father"
Eli: "Sound familiar?"
Peyton: "Anyway, he has XXX throwing yards this season, and ----- rushing.
Eli: How's his arm?"
Peyton: "Better than mine!"
A fight then ensues as the two mannings fight over who had the worst arm accuracy, while Arch quietly throws a shutout win against the Patriots. The Mannings dont like them.
He's gonna be the #1 overall pick in 2026 or 2027

Flag football teaches you how to duck and dodge and use your speed. 2 hand touch in the hood is what got a lot of these players going. That was a good idea actually

I understand the narrative of this channel is heavily voiced over, but respectfully the judgement sounds even better if you put in a personal voice into a 5 page essay. great break down dude!
Good enough to have a video made about him
As someone who went to a 2 tier school in high school, you definitely cant write those kids off. We only won state (in soccer) once but we had mutliple kifs get D1 scholarships and one was offered a chance to earn a spot on the Chicago Fire team straight out of high school. (He didn't take the chance. He wasn't interested in playing soccer his whole life).
With that said, my heart goes out to this kid. So much of this pressure is not deserved. I wish him the best.
