I feel the polymer is better than aluminum in quality. Crank Brothers way to go.

My specialized mtb mini worked the day I bought it (tried it out to familiarize myself with it), but two weeks later when I had a puncture, plugged it up, and needed to top off my tire the pump was almost completely seized.
