    Out please note everyone! Although the way the product works is correct I need to point out yes I point to what appears to be toe and you can clearly see on the alignment readout I do but I’m trying to explain the basic fundamentals and functionality of these camber bolts and what they do and how they do it. Ignore the readout. Reality is for me I had to change my camber but chances are there may be other issue too as to my wear of which I’m going to keep an eye on.
    The camber bolts did make a big difference and have helped and the car feels great. Visually you can see they clearly changed the camber but weirdly my new readout from this same company shows no change other than in toe ....... which doesn’t make sense. I personally think there alignment machine doesn’t read correct or doesn’t show the graphic in the right way .... who knows but I’ll be taking it somewhere else to double check thing. But but but the camber bolts are great and clearly do what they need to do! 👍🙌

    Your reading the wrong setting in that printout. Your looking at caster. Your camber is spot on factory if 1.2 to 1.5

    • @PeakPerformanceReviews
      @PeakPerformanceReviews  4 роки тому

      Spark Plug Steve Ignore the printout fella the diagram is wrong rest assured the before and after confirms it was at -4 and 3.5 now been adjusted and better. I think it’s the machine printout and I get what your saying but I’ve pointed it out to them. It rings true to what’s been happening.

      @@PeakPerformanceReviews 4 degrees of camber is impossible Alex on a standard car even when it's lowered. The figures your pointing at are definatly the caster settings.

      Spark Plug Steve ok so riddle me this then .... why am I munching the inside of my tyres this? Incorrect caster?

      @Sparkplugsteve 4 роки тому +2

      @@PeakPerformanceReviews no Caster won't cause it as your caster is still factory settings. . Toe settings and a big turbo. What's your new camber readings after the bolts.

    • @PeakPerformanceReviews
      @PeakPerformanceReviews  4 роки тому

      Spark Plug Steve I totally agree with what your saying about the diagrams but it goes against what they told me when we first took it in.
      There comments were your camber is way over and extremely negative .... which visually I agreed with. But I know what your saying and understand the science/mechanics. I’ve called them again and they can’t really explain but said yes your camber was way out.... frustrating but I know it’s the camber that needed changing.

    I always wondered how these worked. That was a great demonstration of how they do. I'll be lowering my car with the Mountune springs later this month so interested to see how that affects camber when I get an allignment aferwards.

      Fordy Ford glad it helped and was useful, yeah 100% make sure you do, ours was on 35mm eibach’s I’m guessing the’ll make a little bit it was the other combination that made it really bad and so drastic but I’m guessing it’ll push it out a degree or two for sure.

    Good video! This is just what I need since lowering my car nearly 2 years ago. I notice my tyres worn out very much on the inside but didn't care too much because I don't do that many miles a year. But time to get new tyres soon so makes sense to get this as well.
    I have the same issue on the nuts and even had to rip apart the cover on one to get it off. They put like a soft metal cover that looks nice but wears fast on these nuts. I just buy more from eurocarparts and have a few spare for when some become too worn again.
    Maybe a hex socket is better for loosening than a twelve point I think that's what caused the most damage on mine.

      Jambo F1 yeah I was looking at the wrong diagram but I threw me as the geometry place told me it needed camber adjustment badly. Also you can see how much I changed it, went back and they said great much better only for the camber to be the same on there readout. In short I’m going somewhere else to get it checked as I’m not confident at all as to what it really is sitting on however one things for sure is these camber bolts work a treat 👍
