CHEAP 1965-68 Full Size Chevy Disc Brake Conversion - Impala, Bel air, Biscayne, Caprice -- I recently bought a 1966 Chevy Bel Air and have started trying to make it roadworthy. The first step has been the brakes. While the rear was an easy stock rebuild, I wanted disc brakes on the front. There are several manufactures of kits for these cars such as Wilwood and Leed Brakes, but they are very expensive. You can put together your own kit using CPP brackets and off the shelf parts from an local auto parts store. This video shows you what parts are needed, and how to install this brake kit.
