I love that your videos have a business person first, developer second motto. Not many developers understand this. All businesses extend the cost to the customer/client.
In Thailand, very few customers understand and swipe their cards for these services. The solution was that I invested in an agency service in multiple tools and kept them. And make sure that each website needs different sales packages. And I sell my support annually to customers. If the customer is not happy with the supply I was able to control disabling the tool with all websites that were out of support.

As a independent developer, luckily i was aware of these things thanks to my mentor (so to speak) but its nice to hear it "more" from other developers. The best way to run a business is like that, and to be honest with your clients. 100% transparency and honesty gets you waaaay further than you think.

Try to post twice per day, per website. 3. After, join a couple of Facebook groups like Elementor and other Wordpress plugin groups to start engaging your community 4. Get on Twitter and post twice a day using relevant hashtags. Make sure your Twitter feed has your example sites every few days apart. Also make sure that you retweet and share relevant content from accounts in your web dev field. 5. Invest in Facebook ads for about 10$ per week for a month. The call to action should be your own website landing page where you have links to your portfolio websites and social media. Target your market carefully and you will start with 10 to 20 hits per day and grow as you add your budget. 6. Rinse, read reports and repeat. 7. Pay it Forward and help someone else with advice on what works for you. 💯

Nice that you have your first client! It’s super important to manage expectations in the beginning of a project. Never wait with that. But for some plugins I prefer to pay myself for multiple licenses and then charge my clients monthly. But if you don’t do that then tell them all the costs upfront. Very important!

Never underestimate how alien plugins/hosting are to non-technical clients. Website "maintenance packages" can quickly be misinterpreted as you offering additional pages/design for only $10 per month. I found yearly (all-inclusive) "website housing & janitor" fee works best.
I think the problem I see with this is that once they're paying $10/mo for 'maintenance' they expect not just software updates but also site updates. What will they say when you send them another invoice for the time you spent updating their blog or whatever? They're going to expect that to be included in the annual $120 they're already paying.
You have that conversation with the client that it's extra. I used to work for a company that pretty much was doing this and made enough money to have me as their salaried Web dev and most people wouldn't even know what they're buying when they hear maintenance package lol. And we literally were messing with huge government-level websites with many different employees and they were like "Hello if we wanted you to do x for us how much would that cost" entirely unaware that they were already paying for us to do it.

One question: If you install Elementor Pro with your licence in Wordpress and do a clients website and charge no monthly fee for maintenance etc., so the website is 100% after you have finished it in the hands of the client, will the client still have access to elementor pro or should you remove the licence before you hand the website? And if so, could the customer have some visually/technically issues if you remove Elementor Pro after a website is completed? I'm quite new in this topic and most solutions I have found online, except for this one
You shouldn’t remove Elementor pro, otherwise the website doesn’t function anymore. This is whole reason why you are charging them. To make it cheaper for them and more profitable for you. And thank you 🙏🏻

The thing to is if they don't do a monthly maintenance program, once license expires and they have a issue with a update... believe me they will contact you! Unless they are experienced themselves, it doesn't make sense not to have a maintenance plan. Plus, if they are that cheap you don't want them anyway!
In Rino's case, he only takes clients that will pay for the maintenance plan. It's mandatory for him taking a client in. He explained in another video.

I generally like to update one pluging at a time, just to be sure to know which one is the one that made the fatal error. I also started not only to back up in the server but also in one of my external drives. There have been cases of backup been corrupted.
Some versions ago, tried to update Elementor and Elementor Pro from like 3.8 to 3.11. Elementor Pro didn't update because the license expired, so went to update the license, downloaded the plugin zip/installer, and then found my site broken for having mismatching versions lol. This was on the development environment so restored the previous commit and then updated Elementor Pro first. Now I always update first Elementor Pro.

I let them charge 1 eu each day, at the end of the year i sent an invoice of 365 eu and telling them thats for hosting and maintenance, iIf they want to have something big , I will send a separate invoice for that

If they buy the license they do get updates, so the benefit of the 10 dollars per month package is not equal to the 22 per month that they would pay if they bought the packages themselves? I think I've watched this video the third or fourth time now :D How often are you doing the updates? Do your clients know how often you update their website? I don't like auto-updates, because then I don't know if something breaks when it updates and I did not check the website.

Very nice video! A few questions:
-What happens if the Client doens't want to pay the monthly package? Do you disconnect your licenses from their account?
-Do your clients update their website themselves when they take the non maintenance package?
They dont get the option if you want to work with Rino then you need to take the package or go somewhere else.

Just one thing i didn't understand well : for the 20$ plan, you update plug-in, theme etc. on your client's website, ok. But whats is your service for the 10$ plan ? Is it the discount they get compare when they paid on their own ?
For 10$ it's the Elementor pro cost
If i am using wordpress and free theme so that means i am using elementor so why i charge the client for elementor pro
What if clients wants to add new things, blocks or pages to the website after few months once the project is completed. How do you charge them for these development?
That is not part of the maintenance package. Then I just make a new price for those elements. A one time fee.
And how do you approach the fee calculation depending on what the client's asking?
How can you get clients? What's your marketing technic? Can you please create a video about it? 🥰🥰
I let them charge 1 eu each day, at the end of the year i sent an invoice of 365 eu and telling them thats for hosting and maintenance, iIf they want to have something big , I will send a separate invoice for that

What do you do when client want to leave and move the site and its maintenance to some other company? He will keep these licenses and have to pay to you anyway monthly?

Awesome video. However if they pay 10 dollars.. updates are not included, does that not mean that they have to buy the licenses themselves?
If they buy the license they do get updates, so the benefit of the 10 dollars per month package is not equal to the 22 per month that they would pay if they bought the packages themselves? Just curious if I got this right.
